FUNDS confusion for Study Permit

Hi all,

I would like to ask you regarding the Availability of the sufficient funds in order to secure the Study Permit.

My first year tuition fee + Living Cost + Travelling + Misc. Costs accumulates around 32,000 CAD.

My father will be sponsoring me for My Master's Program.

My father has investments in the Stock market around 100,00 CAD, is it okay if he sells his shares worth 40,000 CAD in order to get that money to his account ?

Could my father be able to show this money as the required funds ?

i didn't get you. If he transfers this money from his investments and shows his current accounts balance alongwith the statement for both the accounts (INvestment and current) to show the proof funds. Will this be fine ??

as long as you have the 40k to show as funds you are good boss.
