"Funds Available"? (Extending TRV while working in Canada under PGWP)

Hi everyone,

I currently hold a Post Graduation Work Permit (good until 2016) and am working full-time. I need to renew my multiple-entry visa and I don't know what to put under the question "Funds Available For My Stay".

I don't have any money saved and the funds I have are my monthly paycheques - I'm on salary and make more than enough to live in Canada. However, the PDF form doesn't allow me to write $xxxx/month. You can only put a Dollar amount.

What should I do??

You need to prove to CBSA that if you have the ability to leave Canada if need be and support yourself without the need to go on welfare. I would put $8000-$15,000

Write what is in your account at the moment, include a print out of your account balance from the bank. On the form, also say you work full-time and include a signed letter of employment from your employer.
