Hello, I'm not sure how silly a question this is, but I've searched around and haven't found a topic that answers my question directly. I am going to study in Canada for a year and am applying for a student visa, my father will be paying for my studies and all other expenses. In the application, when they ask me to state the funds I have available for my stay, should I state an amount equal to what I will be spending during my whole stay (Roughly 27,000)? If so, then when I send them my father's bank statement, will it have to have that entire amount already in it to prove I can pay? Or is it enough to show that the amount he earns per month can cover my monthly expenditures? Thank you so much for your help :)

1. You will have to show the entire amount in your father's account, 1st year tuition, $10K living expenses and about $3K for travel.
