Hello

I have been planning for a while to immigrate to Canada and i was looking at studying at a community college doing a co-op program. My problem is that i have no idea how i will get funding for my studies.

I am currently studying a bachelor of science in my home country to try attract a scholarship. I have no work experience.

Is there any possible way for me to get a student loan in Canada or something like that so that it will help with tuition. I doubt that i will get a scholarship because i know how competitive it is. My parents are retired and i dont think they can help repay the bank back.

You aren’t eligible for Canadian student loans so you will need to look into loans within your home country. As for scholarships, you will find very few at the college level for international students. If you are doing a masters or PhD, more funding is available. You need to show a minimum of $10k for expenses & show ways you will pay tuition.

Try looking for an international education loan from your home country, you can work in Canada part time too to cover your tuitions and living expenses.but u will need to show the VO some sort of funding proof.
