Full time work | day or 2 OFF because of the Snow

Hello everyone,
Please I like to know what will happen if snow is too much and I can't go to work or even the store does not open will the day considered as work or no?
Will get paid ?

As the day work is in the middle of the week also will it be considered as an OFF day or absent.

Snow days are pretty rare unless you live in a few select areas. All depends if you are a salaried worker or not. This a pretty rare occurrence. You are expected to go into work unless the transportation systems have shut down. We're talking a day every couple of years in most areas.

There is no actual law/regulation on snow day for work, as far as I know.
I worked from home that day. (which actually is my normal telework day)

Generally, if your employer shuts down without sufficient notice, they will pay you the minimum hours required by the provincial labour laws (usually about 3 hour). If you wake up and decide there is too much snow to work, that’s on you and you won’t be paid (unless you are on salary). Depending on the province, you might see a snow day (generally milder climate or those with heavy wet snow). Prairie provinces and territories tend to not shut down for any reason in the winter......it’s just part of life here.
