Full time MBA(completed in 2004) from Madras University and it's WES equivalency

Hello All,
I had initiated my spouse's ECA through WES for her Bachelors degree (B-Com) and Masters degree 2 Years full time (MBA with specialization in Finance & HR) both degrees were through Madras University, India and it was full time course.

The outcome of the WES ECA is as below
CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY
Bachelor's degree (four years) and postgraduate diploma (one year).

WES has not considered the 2 Year MBA Full time course as Master's degree, hence wanted to understand from members in this group if anyone has faced similar accreditation for their MBA done through Madras University.

As this is directly impacting 7 CRS points, If masters Degree the Point would be 126 however post the current ECA done by WES the Education point is considered as 119 , hence wanted to check with this group on this, Kindly share your experience towards Master's degree specifically from Madras University.

I recently got my ECA report for my degrees from WES. My BBA which is 3 years - full time from madras univ is considered as bachelors and i have no problem with that.

But my MBA (marketing & systems - 2 years full time from madras university is considered as 4 years bachelors in canadian standards.

Also my MSC IT from alagappa university (2 years - distance education ) is considered as 4 years bachelors degree.

Really confused.

From now onwards MBA from any colleges except IIT/IIM will be evaluated as 1 year PG Diploma.

No. Only new applicants will have to suffer due to this change of policy.

request you to provide any reference to this update. I have done my MBA (its masters not PG diploma) from IIT bombay, how will it be evaluated??
