I sent my ful docs to Jamaica Office on March 4th, 2010. Received by visa office March 9th, 2010. Updated the application pending review on March 22nd, 2010. In process on May 10th, 2010.

hello guys,
does your second AOR mention about any specific time period for processing your application? ex: 4-8 months or something?

For most applicants, it says about specific time period. I am not sure why mine does not mention any specific time period ???
will it take ti forever to process mine?

your consultant is rubbish. which proves they have no idea about the canada immigration processing. its to early to sent query about status (45days). still he needs to read the website and relevant information.

What do u mean my consultant doesnt know about canada immigration? He is a Barrister and Sollicitor Canadian Licensed. See below paragraph from my 2nd AOR dated March 29, 2010

Processing time;
Applications for permanent residence in Canada in the category in which you have applied are finalized in an average of 6 to 12 months in our office. If you have not received any instructions from this office within 45 days from the date of this letter, please contact us directly and inform us of this.

Hi All,

My original application was received by CIC on April 7 2010 and returned back to me Today.

The reason was, I did not fill out my Spouse's 'Other countries with resident Status' field. Its actually NONE.

Questions:
1.Can I fill the same form that they have validated and highlighted and send it back? or Do I need to fill out new forms?

2.They have asked to include the letter they have sent. It has my date as 'Apr 7th'. I have not sent English test results and am not planning to as well (I got enough work experience and education to support it). But for applications submitted after Apr 10th we need to send the scores as well. Will they return my application again because of this?

sorry to hear this.... anyway.. you can send new forms with necessary corrections or changes. u must have recent signature.
IELTS result is not necessary at present for CIO. if you have already ielts result, tick the appropriate one. if you are planning to take ielts ... assume anyone in all 4bands.

Hello Everybody,

i have read many forums but i actually have a new kind of problem which i didnt come across any forums. I have been asked to send medicals and passport with landing fee at the same time. My passport with landing fee reach Canada CHC new Delhi on 25th April 2010. my Ecas didnt update and showed only "In Process" till this Monday 19th May 2010 and the same day evening when i checked the Ecas status it says the information is wrong and they cannot find the details on my file number. I thoroughly checked the details which i have given to check Ecas status. So i emailed the CHC New Delhi about this, but there is no answer from them till now. If anybody has the same problem please advice on the same.
