Full Documents sent in October 2010 New Delhi VO

My Situation is same like you Pal83...we will be completing 2 years of our marriage in march 2012 and life is yet to be settled down..we are not able to plan anything here in India hoping that anytime MR request can come..this immigration has spolied our life..We will wait for it for 2-3 more month and then planning to take our application back...life is not all about Canada..we are wasting our time waiting endlessly !

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

If you applied as a Federal Skilled Worker on or after February 27, 2008 and before June 26, 2010 , your application will take two years or more to be processed. This is due to the fact that Canada received over 425,000 applications under this program during this period.
Unfortunately, it will take longer to process federal skilled worker applications submitted under the first set of instructions (between February 27, 2008 and June 25, 2010) than originally projected.

During this time, the department received applications for more than 425,000 people, and 144,000 of these have not yet received a decision.

This number represents more than twice the number of projected admissions under the federal skilled worker program in 2011, so many of these applicants will have to wait two years or more to be processed.

Now Imagine this : As per mails from CIC 144,000 applications have not received a decision. Each Applicant submitted Rs. 22000 per applicant. Many of them have paid dependent fees upto 4 people. Still if we put an average to 2 then this means fees of 288000 are with CIC (144000 x 2)

Now calculate the amount of applicants Stuck with CIC 288000 x 22000 = Rs. 6336000000 (USD or CAD 140800000 appox) & this is just for people under MI-1.

Imagine the amount with CIC of applicants waiting since 2003
 
From such behavior from Canadian immigration at least it is understood that it's all about money game. But I am in such situation where I cant withdraw nor go forward. I have planned to marry after 2 years but due to this immigration process I have discontinued my study and I got married. My whole time line of life settlement is disturbed in fact diminished. I have asked for CAIPS as a last chance. after that I am going to forgot whole Canada. whenever it come that time only I will think over it.
 
I have sent my full documents in oct 2010..received my 2nd AOR in december 2010. My ecas status is "Application Received"..Does anyone have same status?? please let me know..
I am scared because i dont find anyone who have status like mine(Application Received)

Dear your e-cas is normal Don't worry. I sent my full documents in October 2010 and received 2nd AOR in November 2010 . My status is Application received and decision made. Don't worry . Its a matter of some months now.. Be Positive !!!
 
Application received & Decision made??? I dont get it.
 
It is quite strange...did you apply for twice??

If suddenly your status changes from application received to decision made without any PCC or MR then its a matter of rejection.

Hi,
If it weren't database error, it is really a bad sign. If there isn't any problem with your documents, i hope that's only the database problem.

I didn't receive any letter yet regarding case rejection or anything .. SO I take it as bugs ..
 
Once it happened with me. I have applied 2 years back that time same happened with me. MY case status was showing decision made and after 3 months i got rejection letter. I hope in your case it wont happened.
