Documents sent on 28th april received by chc london 4th or 5th may 2010,
no ecase changed and no 2nd AOR , i am so sad , plz tell me when will my status changed in to reseived by visa office.

I would like you to note that I have received the 2nd AOR by e-mail after a series of correspondence going back n' forth between the visa office in Cairo and myself
I am still not sure if they gonna send me a letter or they will just consider it enough to inform me by e-mail. However, let's wait and see what the following days shall bring to us

Do you think the quota of max 1000 per NOC category per year gonna affect applications before June or not?

Mine was also received by Buffalo office on June 7th - according to the Fedex tracker. I am so anxious now.. it is 4 weeks already but I understand many applications received in May were not given 2nd AOR yet.

Documents sent chc london on 28th and delivered on 4th or 5th may 2010
but still no 2nd AOR and no status changed when will my status convert into Received by visa office.

MY current status is still,
We received your application for permanent residence on January 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

I got my 2nd AOR only via e-mail. Seems it is the normal way.

Hopefully not...coz we were already pre-assessed by CIO-Nova Scotia before the rule was changed...
crossed finger we will reach right to the end w/ flying collars!!

I never knew that CHC's send 2nd AOR in email.
I got mine in Postal mail. CHC Singapore.

US jobless rate came out yesterday: 125,000 people lost their jobs in June 2010.
Canada's jobless rate should come out soon for July.
The situation is indeed bleak.
