Islamabad office received my doc. on 14-04-2010,final dead line for doc.submitting was 20-04-2010, but still today no update in my status.. normally how many days they take....

My CIC Application Status says:-

We received your application for permanent residence on January 18, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 8, 2010.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the Buffalo office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the Buffalo office on March 17, 2010. The Buffalo office may contact you.

I sent the complete documents on April 7th and the Buffalo office received it on April 9th.

I received the 2nd AOR on May 3rd.

That's very good. You received the 2nd AOR within a reasonable time frame. Didn't they mention how long the whole process might take, in the AOR letter?

I have been keeping an eye on things in London and they seem to be processing the 2nd AOR acknowledgment in about 3 weeks if they recieved it on the 29/04/10 then I would imagine you will get your AOR on or around 20th May 2010..

No just that they received my documents, and assigned me a new file number.

Did you deliver your documents in person? Because if not, when they send you the new file number, it can be considered as the 2nd AOR.
