hi friends ,
i hav a query about my academic documents can u pls me what document i need to send to visa office , like what is transcript ?

Hi
Please check and follow the local visa office checklist. You need to send the transcript of your graduation in a University-sealed envelope.
Send all academic documents including 10th/12th/Graduation certificates/marksheets/copy of degree.
Everything needs to be notarized except the transcript in the sealed envelope.

STS

Congrats on receiving the AOR!
You should use the New Delhi document checklist as the cover letter along with a copy of the AOR email received from Nova Scotia.
If you have made or need to make any changes to the forms that you submitted, please prepare a cover letter highlighting the changes made.

STS

This is to answer the question on transcripts:

Transcripts are 1-2 page documents that capture your name, educational institution name, year of study, area of study, and marks obtained each year. It is signed by the Director/College Authority. A transcript is not the same as marksheet.

The sealed transcripts must originate from and bear the seal of the educational institution which originally issued the transcripts. If the college, affiliated with the university, is the original issuer of the transcripts, you may submit the transcripts sealed by the college. If not, then you must obtain sealed transcripts from the university.

Universities in India are familiar with the requirements of CHC New Delhi and have not, to date, refused to issue sealed transcripts. If you are unable to obtain sealed transcripts, you may submit notarized transcripts however, they will be subject to close scrutiny and the visa officer may still require sealed transcripts.

@chefsam

Transcripts are the official mark sheets given by most universities in India. They will seal it in a cover with stamp and provide it to you, same you have to forward to CHC ND. Most abroad universities will ask original transcripts when we are going out for studies and so CHC ND is asking for Immigration.

Its use is to make sure that you have genuine degree. Now a days, in India people are producing more fake certificates and can get notarized them easily. In order to avoid, CHC ND and most universities will ask for original transcripts in university sealed envelope.

It won't be two hard to get transcripts, go to university site and check procedures, cost and time taking, you can either go or send some one with authorization letter depending on university.

Worst case, if you're not able to provide them then write a explanation letter (Do not mention, you're university won't provide them until you verified or so sure. Rather, mention them if it is time taking process or cannot collect physically or some other genuine reason). In that case, produce notarized degree and mark sheets. Again, this may not 100% work.

My suggestion is to check with you're university and produce them. It got two advantages
a. If you provide transcripts, they do not need to verify with you're university and validate if your degree is genuine or not, this could cut down you're process time.
b. You will be lot more confident with you're application if you produce them :)

All the best..

All documents need to be notarised except original IELTS, original PCC, original company reference letter, and transcripts in the University sealed envelope. The other documents that you are submitting are all photocopies therefore you need to submit notarised versions.
