Hi All,

I got my first AOR on April 20th and have to submit full documents to New Delhi by August 18th (120 days). Reference letter from my past employers took lot of time but finally I got them now and going to courier them tomorrow i.e August 12th.

Now, Im worried with the date New Delhi Office is going to receive. My courier service told that it should take 24-48 hours but if I dot it tomorrow it might reach on Friday 13th, what if if it reaches after operational hours. Will it reach on Monday i.e. August 16th. Will that be ok or shall I travel from bangalore to delhi to submit in person.

After all this work, Im worried if my final documents were not able to reach in time.

Seniors please suggest me. If so sending full documents by courier to below address is fine?

Appreciate your response as early as possible.

I suggest you courier your documents immediately. Use a priority delivery - it will cost extra but is worth it! The CHC Delhi does NOT accept any documents in person. The courier will be just fine! All the best :)

Thanks STS2Canada.

Should have mentioned courier service that does the priority delivery if you're from India. But its ok, I will figure that out.

Thanks again.

Cheers...!

I did with BlueDart, they got some time definite courier service and they can courier to ND by 10:30 tomorrow which is good even ND are operational till 13:00. And as STS is said, its bit extra cost but doesnt bother us after we do all efforts for gathering documents.

I have attached all my documents as per both checklist (w.r.t CIO and ND checklist)with some explanation letters for changes in application and for unable to provide current employer reference letter.

I got three questions for STS/Seniors if you can answer:

a. In both the checklist, in Fee section, I have written payment ref. no and attached the copy. Will that be fine?
b. Regarding my last company reference letter, there is attested signature on letter and they isnt any business card available for that. So I took by supervisor business card (who gave my responsibilities to HR team) and attached. Is that fine?
c. To qualify to get 67 points, I got a use my one year canada experience because I got short of 2 points as I didnt do well in IELTS. So, with one year canada experience under adaptability (5 points), right now I got 70 points, without that I get only 65. My question is, inorder to prove my 1 year canada experience, i have attached work permit, notice of assessment from CRA (only for year 2008, 4 months in 2009 assessment is still expected from my employer) and my General insurance for last 3 months stay in canada. Should it be fine?

Please confirm. (though I cannot do anything now becoz my docs were already couriered, atleast I can sent additional packet if required)

Thanks to all.

FYI:

my application date: Feb 1st 2010
1st AOR: April 20th 2010
Full Documents couriered to ND: Aug 12th 2010
Expected to reach ND: Aug 13th 2010

Now, i will sit back and wait patiently. Will update here if I get any status, hope that might helpful to others in this informational place.

Cheers

a. In both the checklist, in Fee section, I have written payment ref. no and attached the copy. Will that be fine? - I paid my RPRF with the full documents. So I included the details of that demand draft. Yes, it is correct to include a copy of the payment ref number for the initial processing fee paid to Nova Scotia.b. Regarding my last company reference letter, there is attested signature on letter and they isnt any business card available for that. So I took by supervisor business card (who gave my responsibilities to HR team) and attached. Is that fine? - Typically, they expect the business card of the person signing. Have you indicated in the cover letter that the HR is signing and the business card of supervisor is attached? I don't expect too much of trouble though...they just need a person to verify your employment. c. To qualify to get 67 points, I got a use my one year canada experience because I got short of 2 points as I didnt do well in IELTS. Should it be fine? - I am not sure of the documentary proof required for this.
Please confirm. (though I cannot do anything now becoz my docs were already couriered, atleast I can sent additional packet if required)

thanks brother !!! plz add me in ur list too.

Yes, I have explained in my letter regarding supervisor business card.

For last question: Can I consider in this way...? What is the time to get 2nd AOR if my application reaches 13th Aug. 2010?? And if I get 2nd AOR can I be confident that Iam eligible and achieved enough points?? If so, I have to keep finger crossed and wait.

Thanks again STS.

You will receive the second AOR in a couple of weeks - people have rcd it from Delhi in 10-15 days. But the second AOR is just an acknowledgement of receipt of documents. It does not indicate eligibility review complete. Only when receive the call for medicals can you be really sure about the points!

My application is delivered by Bluedart today.

Will sit back and wait patiently. I hope my application gets enough points and everything goes well because I'm using 0213 NOC and it no longer exists if I fail.

Thanks all.
