Post june 26,2010 candidates started getting medicals and passport requests fron yesterday by registered mail after getting their 2nd AOR WITHIN A WEEK ONLY.Because their e-cas is showing "we started processing your application on 22 feb 2011".So if e-cas details is showing "we reviewed and started ur processing of ur application from ---------date" means he will get medical and ppR REQUEST IN ONE WEEK.

This is very sad for pre june applicants like us who applied earlier.

Is THIS FAM OR FSW1 ?

My status changed back to 'APPLICATION RECEIVED'.

I have renewed my passport.

Shall I need to inform CIC? Shall I write case specific enquiry?

Don't bother looking at eCAS, it will take 8-10 months from 2nd AOR date. Even post 26 applicants are being advised that the processing time is 10 months.

Per our time lines we can expect medicals around June-July. Until then relax and carry on with your lives :)

I totally agree with you.

My Application Status changed to "Application Received" from " In Process" :o

Strange things going on in ECAS

Mine too, my status was "In process", and when I checked recently it changed to " Application received by visa office". And ehn I see the details, I see a comment " Medicals are Recevied" but I have not sent any medicals yet.

:o not sure what it means.....please help me know who else has such problems...........

ECAS is acting wiered these days.... lets hope it gets consistent

Hi Friends !
Just need some information regarding proof of funds.

I provided the proof of funds in the form of Fixed Deposit(FD) but the FD benefits are very negligible. Now I want to break those Fixed Deposits and convert them into other(Better) Fixed Deposits.

My point is that, will it be OK if I do so and send them(CIC, New Delhi) with new FD papers or shall I wait till the end of the process.

I will be glad to have any advice.

regards and good luck to all.

@Malwa: Don't make things complicated.. let your FD's be as it is till you receive Visa stamped...

As such visa officers are piled on with heavy backlog to clear files.. and your amendments will make further delays... Don't make visa officers annoyed with your file...

Hi OmSai73,

Our dates of filling Application, 1st AOR, 2nd AOR, Ecas status to In Process are very much similar.
And that's true...Online status is acting weired lately.
Lets hope to get medicals soon.

Hi All,

I have applied my file at New Delhi office on dated 23.10.2010 with full documents. I did not get my 2nd AOR yet and did not hear anything from NDVO. Regarding this I enquired (Via Reminder) to Visa Office on dated 6 Feb 2011, but all went in vain as there is no communication between me and VO. As I have an arranged employment opinion approved by HRDC but I think they did not give priority to it. What to do now ? Any response would be appreciated .
