I guess MI-1 is goods train, which is stopped on a side track at every small halt with a red signal.

Express Trains like MI-3, MI-2, AEOs etc are always having green signals which stop for very less time at Major & Vital stations of MR, PPRF & reach quicky to their final destination station of Maple Leaf VISA.

Congrats! I guess they are reaching the end of the line with MI-1s, Dec and Jan full documents in progress I think. We may have some sent in Feb 2011 also, hope they'll complete all before June 2012 and then start sending MRs

rightly said.In my CSQ also they have mentioned that process may begin in June 2012 and may or may not come to an end till 2012.So looks like after June 2012,we'll start getting MR and visa may be received by end of 2012 or early 2013..

there is not much difference between these two updates. Applicants who received 1st AOR before 28 sept 2010 are having file transfer date and who received 1st AOR on and after 28 sept and having UCI nos are not having file transfer date in their e-cas.

I am prejune applicant...sent docs to NDVO in Jan'11 and got 2nd AOR 9th Feb 2011. My status is still RBVO. I am plannign to apply for CAIPS/GCMS.

Could anyone please let me know the difference between CAIPS & GCMS and what should i apply.
Also, i dont want to apply through my consultant because he's asking for $60. I have a friend there who can do it for me. Can i apply through my friend?

i think you should wait for sometime, many applicants are still left to get in process status and hopefully by june end we all prejune will get reviewed.

The best way is to apply once u got IP. Because, when its RBVO details, you dont get much in CAIPS. at the same time you can definately apply through your friend, it wont cost u much.
