If you applied as a Federal Skilled Worker on or after 27 February 2008 and before 26 June 2010, processing of your application is likely to begin in 2012; however, finalization may not occur until after 2012.
Until we contact you, the only information you are required to provide us in order to update your application is:

This reply is much better than that earlier standard one which says' not likely to process in 2012'. At least we can hope to get processed in 2012. then getting visa in 2013 will not make much diffrence.
Thanks Nicky for posting this.
+1 for you.

so, it means that all the folks in-spite of having real in-process status with processing date may not be receiving MR soon as perceived earlier...... of-course we have to wait and watch what happens next
For sure they will work on our files in 2012, but in a lazy mode.....
finalization may not occur until after 2012------> means Visas may("not will") not be issued in 2012....
what may be the reason...?
Further, i guess in-process with processing date ...is just another lollipop, because usually it doesn't take more than a month(for a normal case) to issue MR after full inprocess status...
waiting for comments...

Regards,
Grewal

Sir ji,
see the positive side. At least they are going to process us in 2012 itself. Situation is much better than that uncertain waiting period.

Dear, i am more concerned about the reason of this further delay(as per their reply), when everything looks conducive for VO-ND; because they have new visa quota to be issued and much less number of MI3 applicants to be processed in coming 6 months before MI4 files arrive.

on the other side
somehow, yes it's a +ve sign that they are going to process our files, contrary to last year standard replies in which they mentioned it is unlikely that our applications would even be processed.
They r loosing up.......by Gods grace if they further loosen up we may even get maple leaf on our passports....

I got some information from a consultant that CHC NDVO has started processing pre June files and hopefully we will start hearing good news soon

FOR ALL PREJUNE(DELHI CHC) APPLICANTS KINDLY CHECK THEIR E-STATUS CONTINOUSLY.YOU PEOPLE FIND E-CASE STATUS CHANGE IN NEXT FEW DAYS.KINDLY UPDATE HERE

This is good sign, also need to understand that the NDVO would never want to over commit in writing, so in all practicality the cases should get decided in 2012 itself, although NDVO will never say this, as with all commitments they would keep a buffer.
