Those applicants who recieved AOR from CIO after 28 september with UCI number will not get file transfer date in their e-cas .its same like postjune26 applicants so if u have UCI number dont worry about file transfer date.

@ Saadika

1. It is not clear to me what exactly do you mean by "same like postjune26 applicants so if u have UCI number don't worry about file transfer date."

2. It's true that we have a UCI number.

3. But the reason for worry is that my Professional Code "Accounts & Finance Manager" is no longer in the new demand list released/applicable to post June 26, 2010.

Dear honourable minister,
My e-cas status for permanant resident under FSW1(NOC-3111) is showing recieved by newdelhi visa office pending review.
My application recieved by CIO on 5 may,2010 and i submitted my full application and supporting documents on 7 october ,2010 to new delhi visa office.
I got acknowledgment letter of reciept of my complete application package from newdelhi visa office dated 18 november,2010 along with reciept of payment for landing fees too.
New delhi visa office asked me to contact them directly if i didnt hear anything in 3 months after submission of my full application package and secondthing they mentioned processing time of 8 months to finalise myapplication.
I observed that many of my collaegues under same occupation list (specialist physician) who applied postjune2010 under ministerial instruction 2 got their medical and passport request by newdelhi visa office earlier than me though they have applied after me .
If canada is looking fast immigration as per their job market needs then why so much differences in processing of the clients with same occupation ?what is the rationale of processing the specialist physicians earlier whose files recieved by visa offices later then me ?
It means i should reapply again since i am also under new29 occupation list to get priority in processing of my application but it will be a lot of hard work again for me.
I do understand that 1,44000 applications have to get yet decisions for permanant resident programme under FSW ,but i cant understand why CIO is accepting new applications if there are already a lot of applications pending review under new canadian job market needs at newdelhi visa office?
Kindly help me in this regard and do the needful.
Thanking you.
Truely yours,
sadika.

HI ALL ,I SENT THIS EMAIL TODAY TO MINISTER OF IMMIGRATION,CANADA.

I THINK ALL OF US SHOULD SENT EMAIL TO HIM FOR THIS .EMAIL ADDRESS--- MINISTER @ CICI.GC.CA
@ Saadika

1. I agree with your view that "Why is CIO accepting new applications if there are already a lot of applications pending review under new canadian job market needs at New Delhi Visa Office?

2. Have you recd. any reply to your email. Request you to share the information as and when you receive the same.

IMPORTANT- someone who had applied through my agent has received the following reply from the visa office- I believe it would be an important message for all of us here.

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

If you applied as a Federal Skilled Worker on or after February 27, 2008 and before June 26, 2010 , your application will take two years or more to be processed. This is due to the fact that Canada received over 425,000 applications under this program during this period.

Unfortunately, it will take longer to process federal skilled worker applications submitted under the first set of instructions (between February 27, 2008 and June 25, 2010) than originally projected.

During this time, the department received applications for more than 425,000 people, and 144,000 of these have not yet received a decision.

This number represents more than twice the number of projected admissions under the federal skilled worker program in 2011, so many of these applicants will have to wait two years or more to be processed.

We trust that this information will be of assistance.

@ Dingar

@ Saadika, Deepty, Ryan Niazi Srid_a & others,

1. The last line in the reply recd from the Visa Office (& quoted above alongwith this post) states that applicants will have to wait two years or more to be processed.

2. However, the processing time for skilled workers shown on the website www.cic.gc.ca is 14 months from the date of receipt of complete package at NDVO.

3. There is a clear contradiction in the processing times i.e. 2 years or more an 14 months.

4. Request all especially Seniors like Srid_a (who started this thread) to shed light please.

Warm regards.

Hi all,
New delhi visa office took 14 months to finalise 80 percent of pre june applications between time period of 1 april2010 to 31 march2011.
It doesnt mean it will take same time period in the future.
Since they have huge number of pre june as well as newincoming applications they cant finalise all during 2011 year thatswhy they predict it will take 2 years or more to finish all prejune applications but sure priority will be given to those occupations which canadian govt. need urgently according to their job market needs .
On an average as per their last year record they took 14 months to finalise prejune applications. In future we hope it will remain same processing time period.
Regards.

I think after 30 june2011 also same occupations with same point system will continue for one more year with same 20,000 cap.so one can reapply if one wants to get fast processing of 6-12 months.

Hi ............. i belong to the same noc 4131 and had sent my docs in the the last week of sept.......... is it an indication that they have started reviewing applications in this noc??? do they review applications by noc or just randomly??
I was just trying to understand if our applications are being processed.. If STS (the sept. applicant who got Med request) is under FSW2, then he is not under any quota system. Whatever I posted earlier will not apply here (as Sadika has said).

can4meNU,

I am also in the same boat.. (Don't know if I should believe in this 144k pending apps story)
I am hoping that some decision will be made on the pending applications around July time frame. May be increase the FSW1 count, etc. for this new year.

If no decision is made, and our applications are not moving forward, I don't know what I will do. But decided to wait till end of july for now.

As we are not in 29 NOC list, we have to wait...even if it is for two years. No other option.
I am waiting for new NOC and rules coming out on 1st july. May be it will have something for us as heard that IT is coming back.

Very soon ..... :)
hi guys,

i myself am very skeptical about the 2 years story ........... yet worried as some of my research online threw me on the following :

www (dot) gatewaytocanada (dot) com/2011/05/delay-in-processing-explained (dot) html

and the worst thing is that there might be a second round of policies coming soon which would be known as Ministrial instructions 3 and issued on July 1, 2011. If this is the case then as far as i know there would be again new guidelines coming regarding the whole process.......... so when my agent suggested a second application i decided against it ................ the following link talks about the next round of instructions to be issued............

www (dot) gatewaytocanada (dot) com/2011/05/ministerial-instruction-3-and (dot) html

it all seems like a big speculation.........

1. two of my friends ............ one a banker and another one the same noc as mine (college lecturer) got their visas just last month and they too are pre june applicants..........

2. the timeline on the website is mostly a crude average of the processing times actually taken by the VO to process applications in the last three or four months .......... and if this is the case then it directly hints ............ that more the number of applications longer will be the time taken.........

3. yet another clause that haunts is the issuing of MI 3 (0n july 1,2011) and if that happens again some new policies will be made............

4. as far as i remember........ the VO was dormant for a few months after the MI 2 was issued and then around nov visas started pouring in even for the MI 1 applicants and this was happening till march/april or so ........... and now they are just concentrating on MI 2 applicants ........... mainly because MI 2 has caps and so they have to process the said no within an year.

5. according to MI 2(post june) where caps have been introduced the VO will hv to process 29000 valid applications (1000 for each NOC) out of the whole lot of applications and because they are regularly updating the count, they are surely prioritizing the new applications. I believe that is the reason they have not been very fast about doing the MI 1( pre june) applications. because as the one year deadline approaches since MI 2 was issued ........ they need to make sure they have processed the new applications and the maximum no of caps have been attained............. and this simply should mean that in the last few months of this year they have just been concentrating on MI 2 applications........ they might come back to our applications again when this year is over i.e. after 25 june, 2011.

in all this i believe the best decision would be to wait .......... atleast till the MI 3 is announced. or maybe till the MI 2 year is over .............
