It is a "real" update. CIC will not do frivolous updates. Something has happened on your file definitely !!
All those who have got In Process in the last 2 weeks have had some sort of update on their files, not necessarily known to the applicant though, but some kind of internal processing.

The bugs have been removed, now the status shown is what it should be...

Hi All,
I have landed In Vancouver BC on 27-01-2011.

the journey was very hectic.. Immigration at CAnada took just 20 minutes but there was a huge queue due to new immigrants and students...and we haVE TO WAIT FOR 3 HOURS TO GET OUR IMMIGRATION DONE.........
Now waiting for PR card and health cards...
got SIN numbers on the spot but SIN cards are not yet received as these are to be mailed within 10 working days...........
Account is opened in TD bank with passports identity and COPR.

My ecas is also showing IN PROCESS and there is no address or other things. but the inside text is not changed. It is as it is since last 10 months.

has send a case specific inquiry yesterday, against the advise of some seniors and respected members . but i feel they are taking too much time and i am letting go some opportunities here back home. so will share their response what ever that may be.

in my case...in page 5, the main concern has been highlighted...they have specifically asked me to produce supporting documents regarding one of my employment...check out page 5 in your letter..

i recd soft copy of interview letter, which contains 8 pages. i dont know its common or not?

Requirements.
1. IMM8
2. IMM 5406
3. IELTS [already original i gave them]
4. Original Pasport
5. 6 passport photos
6. PCC [if applied more than 12months ago]
7. Hight n eye color info [form enclosed]
8. Birth/Death/Marriage/Divorce Certificates [If not supplied earlier]
9. Degree/Diploma certificates & memos
10. Employer Reference/ Exp Cert with Job duties
11. POF [Originals]
12. Dependants Visa Fee Payment
13. Relatives in canada & Relation [not affidavit]
14. Marriage Photographs [photographs of outings]

Enclosed Hight Eye color info sheet.. and rates for interpretation services in various languages and their charges....

Guys anybody who got the interview, received any different letter or requirement apart from this...

Dear Barun.. I received 8 pages of letter.

1st page. Cover Letter with my address and file number asking IMM forms
2nd page. Continuing requirements i mentioned in my previous post [same order]
3rd page. Photograph Requirements
4th page. Hight/Eye color information
5th page. Rates for interpretation services by Integrated Languages
6th page. Rates for interpretation services by Lingua Mart
7th page. Contd.. of Lingua Mart Rates for interpretation services
8th page. GMS Enterprises Address for interpretation services.

As per my previous post, those are the EXACT and in ORDER of REQUIREMENTS in page 2 only. 3 & 4 Photograph & Hight-Eye Color Form [asked me to fill and bring]. 5th onwards Exclusively Interpretation Services.

If u don't mind can u mention your details and requirements in detail. So that we may come to an idea. Is it a default letter or changing according to the case...

Dear Yukon,

If this is a real update so it's good, but can you assume why people till March,30 (FTD) are not having any update ?
I mean to say for ND they have processesed upto 10.03.2010 cases ( as per forum updates) & remaining 20days applicants i.e,11.03 to 30.03.10 have not got any update, only AEO cases like Tarakrs & MS84 got update (their FTD is last day of March).

Is Our files are put on hold? I have heard that due to slow economy & less opportunities, they are processing files as per requirement in the country so definitely we will get update but it will take couple of months.

Please Share your views.

The reason behind the delay of not getting any updates for March 2010 applicants may be due to the fact that CHC New Delhi has hired a company to go through the verification process. This company may be delaying in processing the verfication of all applicants. All those who have good background i.e. working in MNCs and having good educational background are processed fast as least verification is required. I may be wrong in my assumptions, however there are few applicants those who submitted documents in June and have got medicals. I submitted documents in April 24 and still RBVO.

God bless us all with a successful life in Canada.
