Hi every1 :),
Im new to this forum, though I'v been following it for past few weeks. Some of u would know me from the other forum. Jus wanted to inform u all that I have received my meds, my agent called me up this morn to tell me that they had received the letter last night. Following is my timeline details reg the fast track appl....
NOC - 4121(Univ prof). My hub is the PA and both of us are dentists.
Application filed at CIO, Nova Scotia : 30 Sept 2009
Application received by CIC Nova Scotia : 13 Oct 2009
Email received from CIC with file number: 16 Dec 2009
Application forwarded to New Delhi Office : 22 Dec 2009
Documents submitted to New delhi office : 08 April 2010
AOR along with new file no dated 8th April received on 16th April 2010
Online status shows Received by Visa Office, In Process ( reg my case filed previously in june 2005, that hasnt been withdrawn yet)

Also was told that 8 meds requests were received yesterday for Chennai city only. So im typing in jus to let every1 know thats CHC seems to be still in business, since I was also in doubt of that. I had almost stopped checking my ecas, since nothing was happening and things were too frustrating.
Interestingly, I chekd up online today and my ecas still shows received by visa office!!! So waitn to get the meds papers in my hands.
Will keep updating.

Love and regards,
suja

Hi All,

I have sent all my Docs & got the letter stating that my application for Permanent Residence in Canada has been received by New Delhi CHC on April 9th 2010.

Additionally, the letter states that Applications for Permanent Residence in the catagory that you have applied to, require an average of 8 months to Process at this office .

Now , my concern is 'what does this 8 months Process Include ? Will i need to wait 8 months to get the Interview / Medical call or the entire process including Visa stamping be over in these 8 months.

As you would have realised , i have already been waiting for 4 months & 12 days .

I would really appreciate any insights into my situation and how long do i have to actually wait before i reach Canada ?

Many thanks for taking time to read my post will highly appreciate if you could drop a line or two sharing your thoughts on my situation.

Congratulations for receiving your medicals.

This is insane....

Actually as far as i heard from sources.... It says CHC,ND is damn busy with student visa applications.

Last year CHC, ND had 10500 student visa applications but this year they got 22,000.

I heard that since, they became tough on FSW, people are applying for student visas n that made the whole process damn slow

CHC makes quick money out of student visa applications and moreover they have to process them within very limited time so, they are given the priority.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I feel that this means once the September session begins for students in canada , they will again start speeding up the PR Application Process . So Let's keep our Fingers crossed .
