Dear Applicant:

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada. We are now in a position to request your passports for visa issuance.

Please submit your passport(s) to the Consulate General of Canada in Detroit within the next 90 days. The issuance of your visa(s) is time sensitive so it is important for you to submit your passport(s) as requested. Please note, though your passport(s) is/are due in Detroit within the next 90 days, you must check your documents upon receipt. There will be a validity date indicated, and the landing must take place on or before that date. The visas cannot be extended. If you are not prepared to live permanently in Canada immediately after landing, please consult the website regarding residency requirements in order to ensure that you retain your status in Canada.

Two (2) recent photographs of yourself and each accompanying family member are also required.

I am asked to submit updated documents. Just do it according to the request.

What do they request? Can you share it here?

Hey Katydid,
They have asked me following documents:
1. updated job offer letter from Canadian employer, which I already got
2. work and resident history – I already wrote down in a paper
3. Tax return for 2003-2007(India):- I don't have tax returns filed for this period

Did you submit requested documents?
and what they have asked? Please share

Thanks,
Manish Patel

Hi Manish,

Did you get any response from VO?
I read from CIC and Buffalo website that this VO has been closed and all other files are forwarded to Ottawa Pilot Project.

I even asked by email to Ottawa but they are like, please avoid contacted with us meanwhile all files are transferred unless you're contacted by VO or from us :(

Any update as we're sailing on same boat or anyone else who's experiencing on the same way as we do?

This longer wait is really frustrated.
Thanks,
Nadeem

Sorry for so late reply. I am really hard working on my course so that don't have time to check the thread recently. They asked updated detailed reference letters and T4, giving me 90 days to submit them

However, so far I still don't know where to submit them.

Any news from Buffalo/Ottawa? I for my AOR in March 2011 and still haven't heard anything from them... :o

Hi lucky13,

I even confirmed from my local MP and he told me that my file currently processing in Ottawa, I don't know about yours, I'm frustrated about RBVO no update no email from Ottawa :(

Let's hope for everyone to get done their processing as soon as they can.

THanks,
Nadeem
