Ottawa already replied my inquiry about mail address for the requested additional address two week ago. They told me the address.

But I am not sure if they are start working on applcation from then on.

katydid,

Do you mind posting the address that Ottawa gave you? I've emailed them two days ago and asked where I should mail the additional documents that they've requested from me since Buffalo has closed. I haven't gotten any response yet.

Hi Guys,

Finally we received our PPR last week. But online status still shows as in-process.

I have another question:

My husband is working in the US on H1B visa and his company had started the US green card process some time back. He has I140 approved (EB2) with priority date of June, 2010.

After getting the Canada immigrant visa we are planning to come Canada for few days to complete landing process and then we intend to come back to US so that my husband can continue his job here for some more time. We also want continue the US green card process.

I was wondering whether obtaining the Canadian permanent residence card will cause any problems in the processing of our US I140 and I485? Can anyone with similar situation share their experience?

Thanks in advance

once you do the landing in canada you need to provide the immigration office of a address in Canada to receive your permanent residence card, you are supposed to stay in canada until you receive this if you dont have it you cant re enter canada

dont think it will be a problem unless the us has some rule about leaving the country during the process
