Usman has recieved V-call, but dont know his current status, either he is "Reieved by visa office" or "in process", the point is that Islamabad CHC is still alive ;D.

Yes this true chc islamabad is still alive as last 2 days 2 people got ppr

My med request mentions within 45 days !
Either ways I am doing it next week on Monday . will update u abt how it went ..

I completed my meds today.

They checked :
1. height and weight
2. tested eyes
3. tested hearing ability
4. Urine sample
5. Blood sample
6. X-ray
7. Physical check up

Was pretty OK. Doc said he will send the med results to High commission , New Delhi in 3-5 days .
the doc ( Dr. Prakash - Apollo , GN Chetty , Chennai ) was good and went thru all the details with us

Planning to send the Passport in 3 days .

Hey SD .. No they did not say anything abt weight .
They made me wait till the urine results came out and let me leave only after they were sure that there was no problem ( i.e - No further investigation was required)
There was a guy ( also for Canadian immigration) who had some problems in his urine test , and they took him for some more tests to understand the severity of the problem.

Physical check up - was done by a male doc. Included : BP , chest / back breaths , felt for thyroid , checked my eyes and ears .
He then sent me to a female nurse who checked my intimate parts ( I don't know what she was looking for but it was done in 2-3 mins).

The male doc did the same physical checks for my husband and then asked him to strip and checked his intimate parts. Again , we don't understand what exactly it was checked for .

We go for wellness checks every year ( actually to the same hospital and same doc ) and we have been thru the same thing each time .
