Hope this will helps, as I get PPR after more than 6 months of medical recd by WVO. Don't loose hope, Mostly all ppl get medical recd gets PPR.

Latest CIC Method of "Calculating Processing Times
Now they will update processing times every week. See it has become overall average time of 13-months as on 23rd December 2015

I don't think this is going to happen... My 13 months are getting completed on 11/1/2016.... & the waiting list is very huge in front of me..... This is smthing like next to impossible.... & a case where colombo office has asked to submit IELTS again doesn't make any sense... IELTS should be valid at the time of application...

Forumites clear me if I am wrong somewhere??

It's just an average processing time, it doesn't mean every single application will be processed within the timeframe of 13 months. Some applications will have faster processing time while some will have longer processing time.

Processing time does not have an upper limit and the number can increase every month. The 13 months is calculated based on files already processed as of December and it does not count those still in process (i.e. those who are still waiting for MR or PPR). The 13 months is a simple statistical average for already processed files.

However we can say that the upper limit as of today is 19-20 months. Look, many May 2014 applicants were granted visas earliest in Jan-2015 (7-8 months) and latest in Dec-2015 (19-20 months). The simple average will be (7+19)/2 = 13 months. The same principle applies to files with other submission dates.

Just wanted to enquire how long to wait post submitting all PCC's before they further proceed. My final PCC(FBI reached them on 31st Dec 15. )
Any updates from WVO this year? I mean MR/PPR? Please do share.

Yes have received a reply in October that they are waiting for my FBI report for file to be further processed. Nothing substantial in my GCMS report. I mean no misrep nothing or sections.

Why so much time they are taking between MR and PPR .. really very tough to wait..

Hand written Passport is expired now.... since November 2015.. even u can't show the hand written passport for your identity...So collect Machine Readable Passport (MRP).....There is no any airport in the world now who will allow hand written passports according to ICAO...

Thank you for your advice, I have received the new passport (old passport details are mentioned in new one) and the old passport is cancelled. The visa is in the old cancelled passport, Kindly update if any one has information that visa is still valid in old passport. Hope I can travel by carrying both the passports with visa in cancelled one and new one.

Please inform your VO regarding the new passport, they may ask you to submit both passports, cancel the previous visa and issue you a new one with a new COPR, this is my understanding, you could get the proper information from the VO itself.
