Hello Everyone,

My name is Pavan and I signed up quite some time ago but have been inactive. My wife and I applied for FSW in December 2015

and got medical requests in May. We have been waiting for PPR since June and by god's grace, We have received passport

requests yesterday. I would like to take this moment to let everyone know who is waiting for their PPR to hold on. Surely

the wait is excruciating but if you have received medical request you will get PPR sooner or later so hang in there.

I also have a question for seniors. My wife is in canada at the moment. She is finishing her internship and can not come to

India for two months. I can not go to Canada as i do not have the visa. We have been asked to submit the passport within 30 days. How to go about from here. Do we have to submit the passport in different visa offices. Please advice.

Congratulations buddy, can you please share your actual time line? what day did you apply in December? Also, how many PCCs were submitted? what was the last document or information submitted to WVO?

All the above information might help us in understanding the WVO's approach.

Quina, you are right. VO people scrutinise files as a horse. Means, as a horse sees everything in front of him and never sees right or left, vo clears all those files in one attempt whose files are transparent and clean. If some doubt is there, they are kept in abeyance for further scrutiny

I'm a primary Warsaw applicant. Can you tell me whether Warsaw Visa Office does background checks on the application (completeness, truthfulness, misrepresentation) before medicals, and security checks (criminality, terrorism) after medicals?

I'm asking because I got MR (and I was asked to pay the right of PR fee), but haven't had any employer's chceck, any telephonic verification at my workplace. At least none that I know of. This seems quite strange to me.
I'm copying this question from another thread since there's not much movement in this forum recently.
