FSWP2014 Applicants from India with files transferred to Warsaw visa office.

Dear All,

This is my first post. I have been silently following this forum till now. First of all Congrats to all those who have got their PPR and best of luck to others who are still waiting.

I am bit concerned about my case. My application was recieved by CIC ON Oct 28 2014. Got an update on eCas that my application has been transferred to Warsaw on 26th Jan 2015.

There is no further update after that. I am still waiting for the Medical request. Not sure what to do ?? :-[ :'(

WVO has been slow since the last couple of months

CIIP is a program sponsored by Canadian Govt specifically for immigrants.

One day one which is from 8.30-5.30 they give u a background of all the provinces, their climate, their culture, n top industries. Later in the day they prepare you for job hunt, job interview, all job related queries. Then they provide info on settlement, give info on their partners in Canada whom we can contact when we go to Canada. Info on Child Care, Tax, lots of other stuff.

Next day they conduct one on one session with each member and make a My Action Plan(MAP) which is very specific to tht particular person.

I am from Chennai and I don't see CIIP program to be held in Chennai. So, can the participants please share their experience in the forum which will be helpful for people like me?

Not yet. My case is being represented by an Immigration lawyer and he says it takes time. Just waiting in anticipation

I would strongly recommend u to raise CSE coz even i m Oct 2014 applicant n I have recd my visa. Warsaw is slow but not inactive...u shuld have recd something by now.

Even my consultant is reluctant to raise cse .

We will traveling on the PR visa for the first time to canada. We would like to have 15 days break in UK. Do we require to have UK visa before we arrive at UK airports or we can get the UK visa on arrival? Any insight will be highly appretiated

I smell something fishy with your immigration lawyer...have you received UCI number.

Don't just rely on consultant, Call CIC get an update, see what they say and also raise a CSE to Warsaw office. they will respond in 2-3 weeks. or else just wait till next update from Warsaw
