Good day to all! I just have query has anyone here received only PCC request but no MR. I am 15th Dec applicant and have received my 3 countries PCC request on 11th of August from warsaw VO, but no MR yet. My timeline is on the left! What am I supposed to assume is it a good sign or something I should be worried about? Anyone who has received only PCC's before MR? I have procured my UK and Indian PCC's awaiting the FBI clearance.

It simply means they wish to process your criminality checks prior to issuing you a Medical request since your checks may take more time than others. So you may expect MR in coming 2 weeks or so. Kindly send them docs as and when you receive them. Do not wait for all the docs to come together.

Tracking number looks like:

YYYY= 2015
MM = month of submission
DD = day of submission
xxxxxxx = these are alphabets. It should start with "IN". But I am not sure
00000 = this is application specific numeric value.

I hope this will help you in identifying your tracking number.

Actually, I was under the impression, looking at the success stories of so many forumites in getting the PPR, that entire process takes less than 1 year. This is one more reason for my anxiety. I do understand that everyone's case is unique at this stage, but thought that CIC might have some deadlines to complete this entire process. Does anyone know about it with surety ?

I am really happy for those who got DM/PPR, but also happy that there are so many others who are awaiting the DM/PPR and so I am not the only one waiting !!

Thanks for your advice. Yes I did mention UCI number in his student visa application.

My consultant is saying no need to inform. I checked the mail again which was received when file was transferred to Warsaw office. It says you should contact VO if there is any change in your marital status or any addition of member in family.

What you saying is also right but I am just thinking that then they should not ask for police clearance certificate.

Any views on when a PCC is required.

Did you mention the UCI number of your son in the student visa application??

My advise is that all though they already have the information about your son but there is no harm in informing them.

Go ahead and drop them and email.

hi ... I too got pcc request from USA but I got mr along with pcc request..
When did u submit fingerprints with fbi.., I submit it on July 15, and eagerly waiting to get it soon
