Guys,

Just wanted to know, when we are submitting passport to VFS, do we need to submit old passports also?

Is it good to give passport to my consultant for submission, as he was asking me to submit in case ppr comes.

Hello friends, plz answer my query. We hv a six months old baby n as per vo trends we will get ppr in a couple of days. Has anybody any experience of travelling with an infant .the experience will really be very useful for me. We are three- I , my hubby n my baby

We had travelled with our baby when he was 6 months old. There are no issues when the plane is flying. Just that u have to make sure to give ur baby something to eat or drink while the plane is taking off or landing. Or else the ear gets blocks due to change in cabin pressure.

Well this shocking ,strange and scary for me now ,I really really need inputs from all,I got a reply from Warsaw that do as it is mentioned in the PPR mail.

I am in no situation to go back to India and get my passport stamped .

Don't get worried brother. Let NDVO get back to you. I am sure they will reply you in the affirmative. They will allow you to stamp your passport at any Canadian visa office near to you. Many applicants in the past got the same reply from Warsaw but were able to get there visa's stamped from offices other than NDVO.

Guys what about British Airways? I've heard from people that it is good.

Not sure as i haven't experienced. BA looks like, depending upon the destination in Canada and if booked in advance, they offer good deal and travel time is lesser.

(I am looking from South India to Vancouver/Edmonton/Calgary/Toronto) - last month it was around 48,000 rs one way pP with a travel date in 1st week of Oct 15.

Friends, with the blessings of Mata Raani and our parents, I finally collected Passports with the Golden Page of Maple Leaf and COPR for me and my wife.

Medicals were done on 19th May. Visa Validity is till 26th May. I guess one year is from the date of Upload of Reports by Hospital.

This forum has been of a great help in hard times. There are number of forum friends I would like to thank to for being on my side when I was broken and was about to leave this forum.

Wish you all the best for further process who are waiting for MR/DM/PPR/Passports...!!!



P.S.: I booked flight in October end from Ahmedabad to Toronto for Rs. 34800/- per person.
Ahmedabad to Mumbai (Air India)
Mumbai to Paris (Air France)
Paris to Toronto (Air France)

Congrats bro. Immediately raise a cse to ndvo saying that you have been instructed to submit ppr to ndvo by warsaw office. Tell them you are in Singapore now and wants to get your visa stamp from there. Get there reply, attach ppr mail and ndvo cse reply and submit your passports asap in Singapore. You can also raise same cse to warsaw office as well but I am quite sure they will not give you proper response.

There was a case when one of the applicant raised cse to both visa offices. Wvo said to him that visa can be stamped only in ndvo and nowere else whereas ndvo replied that it can be stamped at any canadian visa office. He finally went with ndvo instructions and stamped at dubai visa office.

Guys I have a quick question.

Yesterday, I was reading a post on another thread where the person claimed that her Medical Status was "Received" but after that, they rejected her application because the "medical test performed was for a temporary resident visa and not for a PR visa". This rejection is the first of its kind. On her upfront medical form, the words "Worker was mentioned".

Could any of you let me know what is printed on your Upfront Medical Form? "Worker/EDE-Family,Visitor..." ??

PS: She was an express Entry applicant.

On my medical forms, it is mentioned as IMM type : non EDE

Did anyone received the passport back through courier? I received the message stating your passport has been dispatched through Blue dart. however I tried to track the shipment through Blue dart, it didn't accept my tracking id.


Could you please guide me, which tracking id I should use to track my passport .

Same issue here ,I got passport request yesterday and reside in Malaysia ,I want to send my passports to Singapore through VFS Malaysia ,dropped a mail to both Warsaw and Singapore Visa office already ,but they havent replied yet any suggestions ???

Rather than mail raise cse to corresponding visa office .. then you get the reply much faster...

Just an hour back I received the same sms from vfs saying my PP has been courierd through blue dart and I can track the shipment on blue dart website, but it is not accepting the tracking ID we got from VFS......donno whats the case. Hopefully will get the passports by tomorrow InshaAllah.

Yup, that is the only site I am using since 2006 so unfortunately I do not have alternative except google. Moreover, the rates they quote isn't from Kayak itself, they link to other sites while booking.
