Anyone there who got the visa issued and did not write Studio name, address and date of photo taken on the reverse side of photo submitted?

Actually I confirmed from one of the sources that studio detail is not required. Only name and date of birth is required. Even VFS people do not ask for the studio detail. They deal with passports on daily basis. I have no reason to believe that they will make such a silly mistake.

I have submitted pics with Name and DOB written as per instructions of VFS employee. I m a bit tensed now.

I did not write anything not even my name
Photo was 8 months old
On top of all that i forgot to put my height in the form
I got my visa yesterday

Bro, if VFS people has directed you not to put studio details, then forget it. You rightly said, they deal with this process on daily basis and they know more about it, atleast better than us . In PPR email, it is mentioned to write studio details at the back of one of the photographs, but then again, many people got their visas without even writing anything. Chill & Relax, you are already a canadian ;D . Will be submitting my PP tomorrow at HYD VFS, I will share my experience tomorrow.

i will be late in submitting pcc for my wife , deadline is 18th august and i still didnt get appoinment for pcc. actually we r reissuing her passport. and it will take one month period of time than i will get pcc.

how can i inform cic about this , and in what words i suppose to inform them. i did not use any representative for processiong my file , so u guys has to help me out ..

I m new here, heard of this forum yesterday only, some concers, anyone will help please, got MR on 20.05.15,, 3rd line updated on 10.06.15,, from there no response, when i may receive my ppr. Any enquiry work after MR ?

When you renew the Passport, new one has a different passport number.

And even if you submit new plus old passport,which I doubt VFS or NDVO will accept, visa office will accept only that passport, copy of which was given to wvo. Plus it has to be valid for at least 6 months.

So, in my opinion, safest way is to raise CSE.

This was my opinion. I might be wrong but this is what I think is the most logical solution.

When a new passport is issued, the old PP number is also displayed, so do not worry too much about it. Why dont you send both new and the old? In the meantime, you can also send a copy of the new passport to WVO.

No, one can predict the date of PPR. Is your file with WVO? Based on your TLU, I guess, you should get it by August end.

Do not worry, in worst case scenario they may ask you to re-submit the photographs, nothing more than that. I had seen another person in the forum (Can't recollect the name now) who has submitted pictures without studio information, he got COPR and Visa.

1. You don't need an appointment for PCC. You can walk-in at the PSK or Local DSP office.
2. Raise CSE to inform them about the delay. But then I don't understand why are you getting the passport re-issued at this stage? Even if you have to get it re-issued, do it under Tatkal scheme.

In courier 1 - (Medical documents , passport copies , employment prof of my spouse , Indian PCC ) .

In Courier 2 - US PCC of mine .

Please suggest me on below queries:

1 - Do i need to attach all these sent documents in mail and send them again ? as it will be more that 4 MB , kindly suggest how to proceed. Or

2- Yet i need to send my spouse US PCC as we are still waiting for the report , we might get it in this month end .My dead line is August 19 , today am sending them for the extension , kindly suggest.

If no need to send the documents again , shall i ask them to acknowledge on the documents revived?

1 - Yes, send the documents by email as well, scan the documents in low-resolution (100 dpi), I am sure you can do it within 4 mb limit.
2 - Raise a CSE and ask for extension ASAP.

WVO will not acknowledge receipt of documents, however, they will inform you of any deficiency in document. In my case as well they did not provide any acknowledgment, but sent me an email asking me to send the original PCC in addition to scan copy stating that they do not consider scan copy of PCC. Hope this sorts out your queries.
