Hi All,

Upon receiving PPR should we send the passports only via VFS?
I am currently in Kochi, Kerala and for me the nearest VFS office is either Chennai or Bangalore.
From the forum update I could see most of them are sending their passports via VFS, is it because it is reliable or shall we also send it via courier like Blue dart etc as well?

Its not about similar timelines.. It depends on various factors like No. of dependents, Pcc's, POF's submitted... More the documents more the time it takes to verify them and issue ppr's. This is my observation, as I have seen ppr's being released to majority of applicants with no foreign Pcc or only one...I have my friend who is not on the forum,, waiting since 78 days after TLU,, he has 4 pcc's. I am not telling that PCC's might be the only reason of delay but surely its one of them..

I have submitted PCCs from 3 countries and we are a family of 4 (2 adult and 2 kids)... No idea what's going on with my case??? Also, I submitted only the hard copies for PCC, RPRF and passport copies (did not send any soft copies through email)... I am also worried and concerned !!!

Same here.. We can only wait and see that if someone similar to our case gets a ppr in order to know the timeline they are taking to send ppr....

Yeah i know... Just wanted to try once.. completed 60 days of waiting since TLU and was kinda worried to bits..

Hi,

You are partially true.
Most of the times they don't respond in a manner that we want, as they think they are really aware of their job.
Sometimes we are also getting obsessive, but it's normal considering the importance of our application.
However, I am not sure about skipping the payment if you get rid of them.
In my case, final 30% of payment had to be done after getting PPR.
That process caused one week delay to receive my PPR e-mail.
Check with them regarding the delay to forward PPR e-mail. If you will get it within 1-2 days, it may not be an issue.

My application was also transferred to WVO. You can see my timeline.
I think I wouldn't have got PPR by this time, if it was processed in NDVO.
So please don't worry. It could be something else.
Most likely, you will get PPR soon according to the current trends from WVO.

Thanks. This gives me some relief but I sent my application long back - Sep 14 if compared to other people getting PPR. NDVO has processed applicants with almost the same timeline my three friends who submitted in Aug end have got everything done by now. Lets hope for the best and pray to god to shower the blessings soon.
