Another dry day guyz...!! It's really hurting now..!!

when other people are getting dm/ppr you should be happy that files are being cleared and this makes room for our files. so its not a dry day today

when you sent you application in december did you enter your old passport's info?
if yes then you should notify cic by raising a cse or directly via email informing them about the change in passport number

Thank you, but there are many December applicants who got their PPRs already (like sbasha4 who is a Dec. 4 applicant and got his DM in June last week and PPR today)

I n a dec applicant too. But hvnt recd my dm/ppr. God knows on whats basis warsaw guys ate processing files. 41 days hv passwd since medical but no dm/ppr recd yet.

oh! I see; then it will take more time for me also as we are four (myself, wife and two kids (one 19+ and other 17+). So, you mean they will need to process each four or us separately.

I feel many applicants will receive DM and then PPR may take some time. The logic behind the statement is based on 2 factors
1. NDVO will clear all its existing files of September Week 1 applicants (Applications post that were transferred to Colombo and Warsaw). Therefore it will be all ready to process the PPR of applicants transferred to these VO's.

2. There were many appicants who received DM in May and June but didn't receive PPR email. This again concludes that Warsaw only issues PPR when NDVO gives a green signal for the processing of PPR.

Also the applicants who received DM/ PPR till dates either belong to a NOC which is currently in high demand in Canada. Some of these applications were from Nepalese applicants whose applications were fast tracked due to the recent earthquakes.

Now coming to the final point. I believe that Security checks are done in batches and not single applications. These were again delayed due to three factors.
1. Introduction of Bill C 31 which may have changed the way screening is conducted by CSIS for immigration purposes. This might have brought an overhaul of the process thereby delaying or prolonging the process.
2. Recent attacks on Federal IT infrastructure which included the systems used by CSIS and CIC.
3. Recent national holidays in Canada

To sum it all up, in my opinion all the above factors have caused the delay in processing our applications.

I got MR in April and my TLU was by end of April..my FBI pcc was pending,which reached them today..so how long it would take for the decision status..and ppr..

Hi Guys,

My timelines are on the left. I am planning to put my papers at the current employer by the end of this month. I am still awaiting the DM and PPR. Is it ok to resign as I need to give 2 months of notice after I resign.

Also, is there any case of rejection after the TLU so far ?

Normally, how long does it take for the DM / PPR after all the documents have been submitted ? Does it go in the employment background checks at this stage ?

How long does it take for the security clearance as I have worked in 3 countries for which I have already submitted the PCC.

I am now worried, looking at the standstill status of DM / PPR.

Seniors please advise.

I have travelled to Dubai on work visa long time back. Is Dubai considered as politically or lawfully unstable country ? Is it going to prolong my PPR ?

I have lived in Dubai a few days less than 6 months in 1998.

I got PR.

when u r staying in a country other than ur country of citizenship then u can request the visa office which had processed ur file to carry out the VISA stamping (COPR) by sending them ur passport with return postage paid.

Mine is warsaw and i should be getting it done through it rather than sending the passports to New Delhi (as mentioned in email to send it to Newdelhi)
