I will suggest that you wait. You will hear something from them this month. All the late December applicants are in waiting mode. Our files are still under background verification.

Not only december applicants but even many sept -octo-nov applucants are also waiting for MR...there is whole lot waiting..I think they have last issued MR one month ago since then there us no SLU or MR...I don't think they do background check for these many people...otherwise there has to be some update...there is simethung else going on...don't know what...but once they will start issuing MR...we all will get it together...all the best.

Oops, you have every right to be more hurt than Dec applicants. You should raise a CSE. Why couldn't CIO transfer our files to VO like Brazil. Processing time is only two months. Why we get the slowest VO's in the world!

All NDVO applicants have either sent to NDVO or CVO or WVO, final stage i.e. Stamping is done at NDVO only (pl correct if I am wrong)..... and

NDVO has to take care of FSW applications, EE applications and Student Visa applications and now applications from CVO and WVO.. so traffic is jammed...

So all these applications are lined up as they are near to final stage ( passport stamping stage) ...

mmm.. not really. ideally the VO processing your application is supposed to stamp it as well.
However, since sending passports in and out of Indian borders is illegal, all applicants from India re requesting that their passports be stamped at Delhi.
You are still free to go to Columbo or Warsaw and get it stamped there.

u didnt get my point....the ECAS on the CIC gets updated every tuesday as they hv written on their website.
if u have check ur ECAS.
that is the CIC website whr we check our ECAS not the VO site...if we get our DM update it will be on the cic site.

The "Date modified" on ECAS relates to the Format Modified date not the contents.

The date currently running is 2015-06-02.

For date before this since November was 2014-11-04.

So from 2014-11-04 till 2015-06-02, everyday the ECAS displayed 2014-11-04.

I have checked ECAS almost everyday and I have screen shots at regular intervals to substantiate this observation.

Every Tuesday the content gets modified not the format.

I hope the matter is clear.

There is no need to worry regarding Date Modified on the ECAS page.

Submitted my Passports at VFS for submission to NDVO. They said it will take 7-15 days for visa. Hoping to get it soon and book our tickets,

Congrats suresh86 bro. Same here, I too submitted passports today at VFS Nepal. Hope to get stamped PP's between 20-25 July.
