Awaiting for PPR. Got DM last week on May 26th. Hoping and praying to see it

Tomorrow is my 30th day from MR. Since May had 31 days, I got MR email on 6th May, let's pray for my DM tomorrow (5th June, the 30th day MR date). Just a guess.

Today one of my friend from DVO got PPR but he hasn't got DM yet. I am also hoping for PPR or DM soon from WVO.

Need help regarding pcc from India. I received my AOR on 20th May and am waiting for my MR.

As per earlier information in the CIC website, i went ahead and took a PCC from a PSK in advance. But now, i hear from other forumites that rule has been changed. I understand that we need to obtain PCC from a police station instead of PSK as per updated information in CIC website on 26th May.

Could someone please confirm if PCC from PSK is no longer acceptable. My vo is Warsaw

Has anyone recently obtained a PCC from Kerala. What is the procedure and how long does it take to get the PCC?

Do we need to apply in person?

Dear brother,

As per the current guidelines, yes please start preparing PCC from police commissioner ( check local Kerela Website for PCC ) and once you got MR , then VO may ask for Original PCC

Hi there,
It's clearly mentioned on CIC website that, if the person not available in Qatar, then he needs to send:

If you live outside of Qatar: (but have lived in Qatar for more than 6 months)

You can:
1.Return to Qatar and apply in person OR ask a representative (a friend, relative or colleague) in Qatar, with a power of attorney, to apply on your behalf at the Criminal Evidences and Information Department (CEID) and follow the instructions above.
2.Visit your nearest Qatari Embassy or consulateIII
3.By express mail

You or your representative must bring/send:
•A letter explaining the purpose for which the certificate is required
•Original fingerprints certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Qatari Embassy in the country where you are currently residing.
•A copy of the passport that you used in Qatar
•A copy of your old or expired residence visa in Qatar and ID card
•A copy of your current passport
•Three photographs (4x6 cm)
•Applicable fees

and hopefully it will be done before the mentioned/ requested time. As its just a matter of verifying their records of your spouse as when he left on exit and what was his status while he left. Follow the insytructions carefully.

Yeah, u r right. But whenever we contacted my spouse's colleagues who also were with him in doha, they all gave the same answer that they had to wait for atleast one month to get theirs. And that too after loads of problems and follow-ups. That's why I m tensed, because even if my hubby goes there, he wont be able to stay there more than 3-4 days. So, for the time being we are going to try with some friend of ours in doha first and wait for 7-10 days. If by that time, there is still no update in processing, my husband might have to go himself. BTW contacted their ministry of internals today and they told us that it would be done in three days. Totally confused now. Gonna try tomorrow again just to cross-check and then will try with our friend first. Thanks for ur suggestions and wishes.

Dear earth2809 and masoun, you should have probably gone to Dr. U.S. Sidhu's clinic. I went there and completed medicals within 3 hours ;D
