On 26-05-15 CIC update their website regarding PCC.Now they mentioned Except Delhi other states person will apply PCC to their Local Police Stations & they will not accept PCC issued by RPO.

Now my query is people who submit recently PCC to VO before 26th may 2015 which was issued by RPO whether they has to submit again PCC by taking from Local police station or not.

Lot of people like mine will be looking for reply against this topic.

The only authority who can answer this question is CIC. It is better to raise CSE now.

So far as already submitted PCC (issued by RPO) is concerned, I think VO will inform if PCC is not valid as per his/her opinion. But to be on safer side, you should start process of Police Certificate from Local Police station.

I had to contact total 5 police stations (3 for my certificate and 2 for my wife's) and still it took only 3 days to get Police Certificate including Sunday.

Congratulations Bluestone, I have not got the TLU but expecting the same and DM PPR in the 1st week of June (God willing)

VFS is Visa Facilitation Service...

VFS centres are for most of the countries now..earlier I guess, people had to go to embassies and get their visa related work done. However, now the embassies have sort of outsourced the documentation, collection, payments etc related work to a centralised facilitation centre called VFS which reduces their headache and improves the process flow.

Hope this answers the query to ppl asking for what VFS is
