i recieved salary in cash but never deposited in bank. Also i attached pay in slips (few) only that were traceable during collecting documents for file.

Folks I submitted the PPs today through VFS.

The procedure was pretty simple..Took 40 mins in total. Wait time of 20 mins included !
Thought I'l share the same for bros and sis who are planning to to visit soon:

- Arrived. security checks. Carried a backpack which had my folder which had just the org PPs, PPR email hard copies and photos. Kept the phones inside (Switched off)
- Security escorted into the dedicated work space for Canada.
- Took a token for Visa Submission in the Kiosk
- Waited in the area which has notice about the current day's waiting period..It was 30 mins today (displayed)
- After 20 min my token was called for. Provided the token, Org PPs , Photos
- Was asked if I need the PPs back by courier or in person. Asked if I need sms notifications.
- Additional charges apply to these. Basic charge is INR 579 per PP. Sms - 49 per applicant.
- Asked to leave the counter to pay the req total amount in cash in another counter. The VFS counter employee would waited till we come back
- Rem - They accept only cash..no cards. get the receipt and go back to the first counter.
- VFS employees checks the receipts and uploads the data into the system and gives a long receipt which would have 2 ref ids. 1 for the application and the 2nd for the application tracking ( this is the imp one - we can use this on the vfs website for tracking it ourselves - I regret paying for the sms now !)
- Was advised by the VFS employee that it would take a max of 10 Business days for it to come back and I would receive a sms. can collect it the very next working day in person bet 1400 -1600 hrs IST
- was asked to take the receipt back to the counter where I paid cash to get a PAID seal.
- Thats it headed back home !!!

Note: Please follow the instructions diligently sent in the PPR email word by word. Esp taking the hard copies of the email sent to you. PHotos: Should meet specifications (2 for each applicant) & 1 of the photo should have the date taken and the studio's adress written or stamped on the back. No stickers allowed and security protocols advised on the vfs portal.Not a fan of it but dont have a choice !

On 26-05-15 CIC update their website regarding PCC.Now they mentioned Except Delhi other states person will apply PCC to their Local Police Stations & they will not accept PCC issued by RPO.

Now my query is people who submit recently PCC to VO before 26th may 2015 which was issued by RPO whether they has to submit again PCC by taking from Local police station or not.

Lot of people like mine will be looking for reply against this topic.

Hi rahul,

did you raise CSE and received any answer? the case of my son is same as yours. They have updated 4th line (Decision Made) on ECAS.

If they request PPR in a day or two I may meet the deadline of 24th may (Considering 6 months from 24th Nov)

Is it advisable to renew passport or just send the same one though it may not have 6 month validity period at the time of visa issuance.

Sorry, for late reply. You would have taken the action by now. If you haven't then I hope my reply helps you.

I applied for extension through CSE and got extension for 1 month.

Since you have already sent the MR and copies of the passport along with it (i suppose), I am not sure how CIC would react if you send them the different (new) passport for stamping when asked for PPR. So, its best to send a CSE explaining the situation with whatever proof you can send and asking them what to do.

In my case, they specifically said that The passport should be the passport that I intend to use to enter Canada. So, I applied for the passport and sent the copy of the receipt of passport re-issue application.

I see that your timeline is quite similar to mine. I received MR on 9th May.

While I have no idea about what could be the reason for delay for you, I would apply for GCMS notes, if I were in your position. I have seen seniors recommending GCMS notes for seeking clarification if you feel your application is taking longer than usual, or you have not heard anything from the visa office for a surprisingly long time.
