14 August DM people... Got PPR ?.. I am getting super worried now... Pls advise wat to do ???

I have am sucked in a situation an trying to get some answer from CIC on this i hope you will be able to help me in this too.

I got my PPR today and given 30 days to submit my passport at VFS new delhi, I am currently in USA and cannot go back before Oct 20th(i Cannot stay in India for more than 1 month due to my work in USA) and it will not be possible for me to submit my passport at NDVF. Is there any way that i can submit my passport here in USA and what is the process and time it will take.

Hey Harry, firstly my heartiest congratulations to you!

Regarding the visa stamping I have gathered information that one can also submit passports along with other documents in Visa Application Center(VAC) in Los Angeles. There is one office in New York as well but seems they do work only on student's permit.
All the above I have just read from other forums as I'm also in US and awaiting PPR. Please verify if this can be done.
Note: A month back, one of my friend got his visitor's visa for Canada stamped from Los Angeles VAC.

It's my consultant who said that they haven't received anything from cic yet... I am getting worried now...

U just raise a CSE... Even if they dont reply to ur query atleast they look at it.. Dont just sit and Do nothing...

Hello every one,

I have received SLU on 24th April 2015. After that I have added my new born baby to my application on June 1st.

Its been three months now and I haven't received my MR. Somebody said it will take up to 3 months since i added my baby to the application. But now its more than 3 months and I am getting tensed..

While tracking its still shows IN PROCESS. My file has transfered to Warsaw.

Anybody pls advice me. What would be the possible reason for delay??

Hi Chirag,

Not sure about luck. But speed of processing depends to some extent upon complexity of the file and number of dependents.

Bring Forward Date may also affect the overall processing. Suppose bring forward date of your file is 1st August, Visa Officer will open your file for review. If required documents/details are received and available, VO fill go for further steps and if required documents/details are not received, VO will allot further Bring Forward Date and close the file till next bring forward date. So, till next date, no update is made to file.

I do not know logic and extent of time span between two dates.

This is as per my understanding of process. It may be different.

So wait for your turn. Everything will be fine.
