Dear Chahal/Indian Friends,

I am getting crazy each time I read that December guys get tensed because they didn't receive MR. :) :) :)
Warsaw is not a slow VO, in fact it is now one of the fastest VOs especially for Indian applicants, you are truly very lucky. The most Warsaw applicants from other countries cannot even dream about this speed.
120 days from PER and 100 days from AOR for me and yet no sign of update. The worst thing is that according to the trend I will have to wait for another 50-70 days to receive my second line.

I wish you all the best !!!

Can anyone help with the process to follow for Medical to be completed in NZ for my husband though I am the primary applicant and I am in New Delhi. Do I have to inform VO (my file transferred to Warsaw from NDVO) and wait for their instructions or simply send the form I received in MR email to my husband to get the medicals done.

Please advise is it a long process ?

Really worried Sad

I also sent through DHL. There were three category of courier. Charges were 3000, 4100 and 5100. No delivery date commitment in 3100, in 4100 they commitment to deliver is within 48 hours and in 5100 the commitment to deliver is in 45 hours.
I paid 3100 (DHL) was told it would take 4 days. But it only took 3 days for it to be delivered to WVO.
Note: These are just calendar days not business days. So if you are well under the 30 day period to submit the documents, don't burn your pocket unnecessarily ! 8)

Hello All,

I got my medical request or PPR1 as a few of us call it, on 8th-9th May 2015,
I got my e-medicals done at Panchsheel Max on 14th May 2015, and as asked by CIC, also got my passport copies scanned and emailed them (soft copies) to my visa office (they asked me to pay the RPRF Fee, send the scanned copies of the passport and to get the medicals done).

Now what all I have done is,
1. Got the e-medicals done,
2. Scanned my valid passport,
3. Paid the RPRF Fee using a Credit Card,
4. Sent the soft copies of the passport, medical reciept (3 pages including the bill) + soft copy of the RPRF receipt along with the email.

Am I done with it ? or there is something I didn't do ?

It was written on the RPRF slip that the hard copy / print out only will be considered as a valid proof.
What does that mean?

Kindly Help. Thanks :D
Hi Vishal,

This is something which has come up a couple of times and I have answered the same too. Please check for my previous post on Page 181 too.

Now regarding your situation though you dont have a PCC request you still need to send a hard copy of your RPRF summary for 2 reasons:

1) The RPRF receipt email (which comes to your inbox from epayment@cic.gc.ca after you pay your fee online) states: Attached to this e-mail is a copy of your official receipt for the payment of Citizenship and Immigration fees. Please print this receipt and attach a copy of the receipt to your application. Your case processing centre will only accept a printout of the official receipt as proof of payment. Thank you.

This receipt would be intentionally blank - you would need to fill in your DOB, Client ID (UCI), Postal code , Area code / telephone number.

and 2 ) The RPRF summary receipt itself states : Please print two copies of this receipt, send one to Citizenship and Immigration Canada and keep one for your records. Please also note that the payer's name on this receipt does not have to be the same as the one on the application form.

I remember seeing posts which states that if original PCC is not requested then no courier/hard copy is required. I doubt that for the 2 reasons mentioned above. Infact I too had the same impression, until I saw these instructions.

So I advice you send the hard copy of your filled RPRF receipt, passport copies (all pages including blank pages for all applicants), hard copy of medical summary to your VO. I see folks trying to avoid sending courier and rely on email/scanned copies etc...fine, we are in a tech savvy world..but do we really want to risk the progress and delay it ?. We are not a PR until we land there and get our papers stamped !!! So why risk it.

I did this and got my FLU (DM) within 2 weeks (I'm still anxious !)

Hope this clarifies your doubt and hope this helps others too. Wish you and all the members good luck 8)

Medical can be done across the globe. Go ahead and ask him to do it in NZ.

Once your Medical test are completed at hospital, they upload it to CIC website. This may take some time and changes from hospital to hospital.

Once uploaded it goes to Range Medical officer/es, in our case its in New Delhi ( for most of south Asia and gulf ). They review the results uploaded by hospital and assign them grade based on the result.

Once its done, its ready to move to ECAS. Now ECAS is not real time again so may add additional delay.

So don't worry, if something is wrong most likely it gets caught at hospital only, otherwise its just procedural delay and we have PhD in handling that. :p ;)
That was detailed explanation .. Thanks ...

Hello there...!!

Friends, though I am technically new to this forum, I have been following September and Warsaw transferred posts for quite long.

I have got a problem for which I need assistance. Me and my wife got meds done yesterday, i.e.,19/05/15. Everything went fine. But during doctor's consultation, when they ask if there was any major or minor surgery performed, I frankly told them that when I was 8 years old there was a minor surgery performed to remove tumor from neck. Doc asked was it for TB? I said no. It was due to deficiency of Iodine. Doc said, "okey, no issues". But he noted it down in file. That's it. There was no furtherance and at the end of medical, I was provided e-medical receipt.

Now I feel tensed if this will have any impact on my medicals or it could result in delay. My friend, who is pr in Canada, told me that only major issues which are PRESENT in your medical condition could create a trouble, not something which happened 20 years ago.

Please guide.

Sorry for long post. Thanks in advance.
