Hi friends..

I got my 2nd line update on 7th April.. Till when it would be expected to get MR?

Am seeing ppl from nov, or after me are getting MR after 2nd line update.. when should i start worrying...( although am already tensed as these are the defining moments when background check is in process and you already started to to hope more after PER)

Dont worry I am in the same boat!! Got my second line update on 11th april(startd processing on 8th april) .Dont lose hope!!
We will get it very soon!! goodluck to all those who are waiting for MR after second line update!!

2. Passport is in English no notary required unless specifically asked for.
3. Yes the same address at the end of the mail. They would have mentioned it in email (something like our address is at the end of mail ) as well.
Pat attention to point 1. Your DD shall be drawn on a Canadian bank.

I am still waiting for answers from you for my below queries. Pls help in clarifying the below situation.

I sent Nepalese PCC of myself and my wife along with my wife's PCC from another country where she studied before while filing application during Sept 2014. If WVO asks for fresh PCC of myself and my wife in MR email, then does it mean that we should get her foreign PCC too again or is it only fresh Nepalese PCC (She hasn't visited that country again after we filed the application to CIC)??

I am yet to get MR email but still want to get prepared for the above issue to resolve in time.

Hello Nepalese applicant, Im from Nepal too, where r u from, if u want to contact me write me a personal massage so that we can communicate later even by meeting here in Kathmandu.

So far, for ur spouse, u need to request for fresh PCC from respective embassy of the country where she had been studying/studied within the last ten years. But wait for a while to see if they really ask or not.

I hope they wont ask you the fresh PCC from Nepal if u have already submitted the one while applying the application in the beginning, however, if u did not submit during application, there is still maximum chance that they ask u. Otherwise they wont be asking u for nepalese PCC twice, unless ur file goes on pending for so long.

Keep in mind that u might need the one for ur wife of the country she had visited during last 10 years and stayed more than six months there.

Hello Fairu... Havent recd yet.. I think lot of ppl have got quickly after SLU. !!

before 2nd line its not that stressful as the file is not reviewed properly but real tension starts when SLU comes as lot of thoughts keep coming in mind.. ( mostly negative when others start getting MR of same SLU timeline )..

1. Prepare DD from SCBNL. They make DD drawn on Royal Bank of Canada.
2. It's better if notary public stamped copies are sent or scanned and emailed (as the case may be).
3. Yes, these need to be sent to WVO.

Thanks for your reply. I am a bit confused here as to why they should again ask for foreign PCC whilst she hasn't visited afterwards? We already sent both foreign and Nepalese PCC of hers while applying.

if your PCC was Valid on the date the application was received it should not be a problem.
