Got the second line update yesterday like many other applicants (processing started before AOR date), but not sure whether this is a sign of something good like previous ecas system :-\

My 2nd line has been updated yesterday. Its the same case, 7 days before I received PER.
Is there some mistake? What do you think?

Can you please tell us, when your 2nd line was updated? & when did you receive your MR?

I have read from other posts that ECAS structure has been changed, the ECAS now may have 9 lines in total.

I noted the changes in my ECAS last week and I got 4 lines as below:

1. We received your application...
2. We sent you an email acknowledge of your application ... i.e. AOR
3. We started processing your application on 12 December - 4 days before my PER
4. We transferred your file to Manila office on 16 December - my PER date. However, I noted from my GCMS that my file was transferred from Singapore VO to Manila VO in early February

And today I got 5th line - we sent you correspondence on 26 Aug 15 ... - My MR email

I don't know what such changes mean. I hope the changes in ECAS are the signals that our files are processed so that anyone who has recently got the ECAS updates will receive good news soon.

I have an employment letter for part time job in Malaysia and I didnt pay any taxes for that. can you help me with this matter. what document should I provide?

What was your declared employment? What is your NOC Code?
What is your nationality?
Most of the company deduct Income Tax from monthly salary and provide Income tax certificate annually. Individual also pays Income tax and can get Income Tax certificate against his salary. You need to submit both.

It's good to see some people are getting MR from Manilla VO. However, seems none from Bangladesh specially we see applicants of other countries of late July have already received MR but No one from BD of July have seen to receive MR.

Are you Bangladeshi? Seems like with NOC 0013, you are exceptional bcous MVO now processing 2nd line 2133, 2171 NOC.

Interesting to know about those specific NOC !

Is it a trend that you are guessing exploring through global spread sheet or have some specific (internal) ref ?

Among the files thar were transferred from SGVO to MVO, latest which timeline applicant received MR?? Any statistics on that?
Myself also waiting for MR after SLU on 26th August.

When was your 2nd line update?

I got my 2nd line August 22. Then an email came in 25th stating for us to do Mr. The Mr forms arrived in email 26th August.

i have an inquiry regarded the Travel information which is asked to submit again as Doc. Update.
my original country is Iran but i have lived in Malaysia from six years ago which i considered as residence country. i traveled a couple times to the origin country include a 9 month stay but basically the duration of my trips was less than one month.
in IMM5562 asked to list all trips we have taken outside the country of origin or of residence in last ten years.

I only listed all trips exclude the trips from origin to residence and Vs. is that wrong? if so what should I do now?

I have done my Medical today. I have one question , I am an Indian staying in Malaysia on my company visa from last 4 years. My passport is getting expired in July 2016 if I get my Canada Visa stamped by September or Maximum by October then whether I can still travel to Canada on that passport in Jan or feb 2016? as I understand that generally minimum 6 months passport validity is required to travel to any country. Or can I go for a new passport and carry the Old passport with this visa to Canada. Is the Visa on old passport can be still used for travelling to Canada ? or Whether CIC can transfer the visa in to my new passport later ? Has anybody gone through this situation.
Even if I take a new passport now, I cannot have the new Malaysian visa transferred on the New passport within 1 month of time (This is due to unexpected delay from Malaysia Immigration, generally 2 months)

Please suggest.
