Hello everyone,

I want to apply this year under Federal Skilled Worker Class. I am currently living in India.

I gave IELTS last year and the results are as follows :

L-8
R-5.5
W-6
S-7.5

Overall-7

I had gone to US few years back for higher studies and I had given IELTS at that time as well.The IELTS results at that time were as follows :

L-6.5
R-6.5
W-7
S-7
Overall-7

Can I apply for PR under the New Criterion released in April ?

Chk ur occupation listed or not in NOC list

IELTS should not be older than 2 yrs

U need to get ur education evaluation thru WES

No, You cannot apply. You need to have 6 in each section in IELTS test. Thats a mandate!

6 in each section is mandatory + if you went for studies I suppose you had to take IELTS Academic (for the second time). These grades are better and you would be able to apply with them only if it is General. But if it is Academic you cannot apply. CIC demands General for the application ONLY
