Hey friends, you wont believe, I downloaded the file at around 9 pm IST on June 17. till then, it was old form.... It might have upgraded to new one soon after i logged off. quite unfortunate.....

Yes, we all have to ride on that belief. On second thoughts has anyone been thinking of sending the Generic Application form alone as additional documents to be attached to your earlier package? :-\

Hi guys, I am an august applicant. my app was received August 15th at CIO. its Regarding the Schedule 3 form & Fee payment form. the one i used obviously is the August 2013 version. Now i have going through some threads and some saying it was updated on the same month of August 2014. I am not sure what particular date it was. And when i went just now to CIC website for the updated forms, yes it was true that they updated it on August 2014. I believe the update occurred at a later date of the month.

I was going through the old and updated forms. The changes were minor. Only some minor addition and revision, which wont affect much in terms of the forms content and purpose, in my honest opinion.

Is it safe to say, that the old forms are fine since i submitted on the same month when it got updated..

I hope it wont have an adverse result.

Anybody on the same situation?

i agree with you, the changes are very minor and should not affect an applicant if they don't have a dependent child over 18 years of age. From my extensive research, i am to understand that the Schedule 3 form changed on 20/Aug/2014 (I am not 100% sure, and, that's the reason, i have marked it as ??/Aug/14 in my first post and left it open so that someone can let me know). If that is true, there are high chances the Fee payment form and document checklist also changed around the same time and in that case, you don't have to worry at all

For everyone's benefit, what you could do is compare both the forms with a hawk eye and list down the changes that you identified in both these forms here in thread, so that we can provide a more precise analysis.

I sent my application on July 17, I saw another person send it before before with old application form. We will know the outcome soon.

According to all the seniors in the forum, we are safe.

None so far. I have not seen any reports of rejection due to use of old forms. Fingers crossed :-X

I can guarantee June 23 applications are 100% safe. Their application must have already passed the document checking by now. It is matter of day or two, their DD or CC will be charged.

Reasoning:
Applications received on July 7th was rejected due to a missing signature and returned to applicant address in India. Of course not for the old application form.

My point, application received on July 7th application was scrutinized at least a week ago. June 23rd are already safe, if the applications are not returned yet. But they won't bother for new applications form for June 23rd applications, since the form was updated on 17th.

July and future applicants needs to worry.
