hi all,
anybody on this group whose medical is expiring soon and have not heard from CVO yet?

When does medical expire exactly ? I got my first MR on 28th Aug 2015. My wife was pregnant during that time.
So I completed all of my medical tests, my wife completed her , except the chest xRay. After baby was born, wife's pending xRay and baby's medicals got over by Dec 2015 and Jan 2016 respectively. 21st Jan 2016, ECAS status was updated to Meds have been received.

So when is the MR expiring for my case ?
Is it in 28th Aug 2016 or is it 21st Jan 2017 ?
Can anyone please clearly suggest ?

I am very close to giving up hope on Colombo.
My first medical request was on 28th August 2015. We had our baby in Nov 2015. So the overall MR process ended with the ECAS line update on 21st Jan 2016. So far nothing more..... I am at a loss of words at how slow things can get !!!
Simply no SLA !!!
Now, I heard that the Meds are valid for 1 yr, and so for me it will be valid till 28th Aug 2016.
Is there a chance that I will get the PPR before that !!

I am skeptical to even hope as it is CVO.

I think your medical would probably expire in august as it was done in august last for you.. the reason they have the validity is to ensure that medically you are fit for which they have the one year period irrespective of when it was updated..
logically i would think that should be correct..

I have a question... Once I am asked to submit my & my dependents' passports for visa stamping , do I need to take them personally or these need to be couriered ? Also, in what way I am going to collect our visas ?

I hope all is well as far I know you can couriered them and they will return by courier as well to local visa office.

Mini got PPR on 11th of April, She even landed in Canada, therefore i am striking her name from the list.
It seems it is the turn for those who were rescheduled for the IELTS exam.
