interview is possible anytime before ppr.
but cvo is not that interested in interviews it seems.
so far from this forum I had come across only one candidate who got an interview call.
his actual vo is Colombo. A sri Lankan citizen who's wife is a foreign national.

interview is just one type. But reason for it could be different.
usually its clarification regarding job duties and responsibilities.
in the case above mentioned i believe it was regarding his wife since she was of foreign origin.

but we must all admit that CVO is very slow in processing as I know other applicants of the same timeline with different vo's are through with the MR...

there are even slower vo's than cvo. Patience is the key.
at least they are not rejecting applications. From warsaw I saw around 10 applications got rejected.
same with some other vo's as well for ex London vo.
so far cvo is one of the most candidate friendly vo.
when I had been waiting for MR I saw many candidates after my application date got even ppr from cvo.
but be optimistic and believe that its for good.
You are not yet late you will receive what you wish for before the end of this month.

we must consider ourselves lucky because of many reasons.
when I think of my application getting late I think of people got rejected from CIO itself.
many got rejected for stupid reasons.
my friends who's applications in ndvo have been waiting for 8 months now after file transferred.
cvo takes a maximum of 3 months from file transfer to MR.
so dont worry. You will get it sooner.

you r right bro....i got my AOR from colombo visa office on 26th March..and have seen many posts mentioning that they got MR approx after 3 months of AOR...so time hasn't run away....we should be optimistic that atleast our file hasn't been rejected for stupid reason. recently one of my friend who was having 77 points got rejected due to stupid reason by NDVO....bad luck for him....so i feel better late than never.

You are an october applicant and recently i saw many October and November applicants getting MR. So we can presume that currently October and November applicants are getting MR so December applicants will also get their turn in coming days ,may be within 15 to 30 days.

Even I want to draw your attention to Canadian Immigration Official website where they have recently updated Applictation processing time for visa offices including Colombo. For Colombo its 10 months after application is filed. so good news is that Colombo office is even faster than NDVO. NDVO's processing time is 12 months after application is filed. So we all should be very optimistic that our days will come very soon.
