FSW1 - Applied and App not received yet

Hello,

I applied under FSW1 and sent my application by USPS through Express International Mail on April 5th. I see that today i.e. April 12th, my application is in Canada (seems to have stuck in Canada Customs) Post office to be delivered.

I wanted to know that since it will be delivered tomorrow i.e. 4/13 or today which is after April 10th deadline, is there any reason for me to worry. I see that people are talking about lot of changes being implemented starting April 10th and my application will be subject to these changes.

Can someone please throw some lights on what those changes are and how can they affect me?

Why don't you calm down.I sent my application in August 2009,it got to sydney in October and I was given a go ahead December(end).I suggest you take a chill pill

No worries. The new rules from 10th April say that you will get only one chance to prove your language ability only once and it does not effect your application to CIO

DOnt worry, i haver same case bearing desperately, I too made mistake by sending via Pakistan Post office on 19th March 2010, but my application is enjoying with Customs review upto now.
and I dont hope too for next 6 to 10 months. :'(.

Thanks for your reply. I would like to advice you to please read the post before jumping to reply. I am not impatient that I need to calm down. I had a question and I asked in this forum.

I would encourage you to take this post in positive spirit and read what I posted again. If you have trouble understanding what has been written, please ignore it.

Hi Murtaz,

My suspect is that you did not fill up the customs declaration form and that is why it is stuck at Customs. Instead of waiting for a miracle to happen, I would encourage you to send an email to CIC and explain your suggestion and see if they ask you to apply again.

canada77 kindly dont get any tenssion, I am also undergoining such problem, forget someone's comments harsh or hard, just u find which is for u. This is open forum we must be polite to each other becuase we all need support from each other 8)
