Easy, when some people are frustrated because they can't make it in one specific country they start talking trash about it.

Many people have come to Canada with high expectations, thinking their lives will be resolved in one or two years.

When that doesn't happen, they turn their frustration into attacks to the country that took them.

Now, let's be clear, this happens in every country, not just Canada.

Canadians are among the largest users of Reddit and Gen Z revolves their entire lives around social media. Hence, you see a lot of actual issues being blown into hyperbolic proportions. In most cases, successful people do not spend a great deal of time making negative posts or venting online, which is why most of the posts you see online are from people who are struggling. This is not exclusive to Canada. In the subreddit of most developed and developing countries, you have a lot of young people posting about how absolutely shit their lives are. It’s become extremely rare to see positive news and there’s also the fact that negativity sells and garners more clicks and attention. The best thing for anyone’s mental health would be to stay out of toxic social media sites and to dedicate that time towards self betterment.

Most Canadian, especially old growth Canadians are Daft Cunts (tm). They will never fix the things or let anyone fix things that need to be fixed and will bitch and moan about everything around them. They did not fix their health care since 2000s, they did not fix their housing since late 2000s, they fixed nothing! And now they are moaning why evil Indians are coming and taking their delicious food out of food bank and McTimmy jobs and basement apartments.

I will say people to be very careful while looking at those rankings. Your own lived reality and rankings may differ massively. As far as universities go, the upgrade of attending a north american major research based university and a private college in say India is such a massive leap that rankings of universities stop mattering at all. Is there a pack order of universities? Yes, likely. Will it be relevant to your career? Very situational. Its like blaming your shoes to win a race. It does matter but after you have fixed a whole lot of other things. Most never get to that point. Same is with Canada. The ranking's subject matter will apply to you at a much later point, perhaps and situationally.
