The only sensible way to go about this is to get married after you have submitted your application, then update IRCC with your marriage documents.
Not really, they can get married anytime, report to IRCC but choose not to add spouse to the application. Only medical will be required at most.

Agree with @wonderbly.

If they get married before AOR, the most that can be done is add spouse as non accompanying. Medicals plus PCC will be must. Spouse can be sponsored later.

However it is mandatory to declare marriage before you land, there is no way out. So rather than declaring marriage after CoPR is received, it is better to declare once AOR has been received. Scores wont be recalculated plus would save time of sponsorship (above case) OR spouse addition after CoPR is received.

Then she won't get pr till he reaches there and sponsors her. Probably a 2 yr wait.
She can get a visitor visa and come and join her husband in Canada. Even better, she should get it before marriage to ensure IRCC does not fusses about why she is coming there. Once there, she should apply for spouse PR while being in Canada. I believe there is a spouse work permit for in-canada spouses. Or she can explore taking a little diploma or degree to help her finding better jobs.

No, they can add a spouse in an ongoing application AFAIK.

Thats true. They should get married whenever they want. If they husband has not yet landed, declare their marriage to IRCC, do the needful docs (medical only IIRC) then get spouse PR going.

If spouse is qualified enough, however, they can get her PR independently or calculate the total points.

Yes, spouse can be added in application BUT -

1. If added after ITA and before AOR, points will be recalculated (if added as accompanying AFAIK) .Here is where OP is concerned about points decreasing from 484 to 481 --> better to avoid risk in my opinion even if 481 matches the draw cut off score. If added as non accompanying, spouse can be sponsored later which again is very time consuming.

2. If added after AOR, points wont be recalculated even if added as accompanying. This is the best case.

So better to delay marriage to post AOR and then add spouse post AOR pre CoPR.

In any case, before landing, change of circumstances like marriage has to be disclosed. It is an obligation.

This does not make sense.

AoR in case of express entry is immediate. You apply, you get your AoR. So all he has to do is to apply after ITA and he can marry his would be spouse?

I was referring to period between ITA and AOR ,which would at least be few days if not weeks, to gather documents and submit. I understand AOR is immediate upon submission.

So if you receive ITA, you get married and then submit your application/receive AOR without changing status as Married from Single is most likely to qualify as misinterpretation, isnt it ?

If you answer any question on application falsely, you run a risk of misrep. Plain and simple.

Hi, i had like some help
I used to have an EE profil in 2020 i was 28, i got a letter of interest from Ontario for FSW program but I didn't apply because of COVID and fonds.
Now, I am 31 almost 32 and I want to try again. Will my chances go down because I am over 30?
I have to retake the tests but my score would be around 453.

Yes, less chance now. Try learning French or PhD
