if you scored 10 points for your ielts, you only have 65 points.
your only option is to retake the ielts and try to score at least 12 points.

Did you count the double degree (if you have the required number of years of study also) for your points. Did you count your husband's masters for points.
Actually I am confused on how to do it. When I went back to the assesment (CIC) I got 67 points using my IELTS 10 & education 22. Your final score is: 67

Here is the breakdown of your total score:

Factor Maximum
Points Your
Score
1 Education 25 -22 2 Language Ability 24 10 3 Work Experience 21 21
4 Age 10 10
5 Arranged Employment 10 0 6 Adaptability 10 4
Total Score 100 67
Pass Mark

The pass mark as of September 18, 2003 is 67.

if your husband is the main applicant he should score a 25 for the masters.
a double degree is only 22 points.

Remember that nurses are badly needed in Canada, why not apply for provincial nominee programs? BCguy knows employers who needed nurses asap and they apply your for PNP.

And also if you don't reach the 67 points, (but your both nurses) here what CIC says:

If your mark is lower than the pass mark, you might not qualify to immigrate as a skilled worker at this time.

However, if you believe there are other factors that would help you to become economically established in Canada, you may still apply.

Send a detailed letter with your application explaining what these factors are and why they may help you successfully establish yourself in Canada.

Include any documents that support your claim.

my wife is also a nurse and we are planning to send application next month. My aunty/uncle lives there, so i think she can claim 5 points for that. What proof is need for claiming relationship?

The only problem with the lower than 66 points strategy is that you might loose your application fee and still not qualify. i am guessing this (i dont know it as a fact).
I don't see any reason why you won't qualify when both of you are nurses. Be sure you have one year experience, and high proficiency in English (because your talking to English-speaking patients all the time). This occupation is very high in-demand (and I think recession-proof) compare to IT related jobs.
