I am a first year PhD student in University of Toronto, Ontario. I completed my Masters during September 2010 to January 2012 at University of Toronto. Then I went back to my home country (India) and came back to join PhD in January 2013. Including my Masters, I have 28 months of full time RA experience. Does this count towards FSW requirements or PhD stream which say that 12 month employment is required? Also, can the 12 month employment period be outside Canada? And should be a continuous period of 12 months? Do internships count?
