In the EE what's app group a lot of ppl got their pprs today.

That's great news. Please share a few AOR dates of those who got PPR.

The process will take time to streamline. I remember the time, pre EE system, when applicants had to wait endlessly to hear news,some news. This EE system is improving daily and it is unfortunate that we are the front runners and the experimental lot, atleast we are paving way for future applicants

They have backlog for sure and their priority will be to clear them before they kick off this "Express" train to full throttle and meanwhile, all we can do is vent our frustrations on the keyboard and wait until the bottle neck is cleared. :-\

This is one great way of experimentation by CIC . Just hope that this long wait is fruitful. :

I don't know guys, I've lost all my holiday mood and I don't expect it to apper again anytime before any news on our applications. It's so painful, I was so close and now I'm waiting for over 1,5 month with no certainty of how much more to wait. It's so unfair, just a couple of days earlier AOR and I would have visa by now. A couple of days just can't mean so much in such a crutial topics of human lives, it's so harsh. I can miss deadlines and lose a YEAR of my life. Please support me anybody :'(

We are all on the same boat. It's really hard I can tell. We really have to make efforts to keep us busy or unwind with new hobbies.

Definitely I will come to the 'planned' CN Tower reunion!

I opine that it does matter. It would grossly unfair to cause 70% of their applicants to re do their medicals because of their inefficiency.

Technically if our apps are stuck they would not move until at least after Feb.

If that is the case then July, August and some Sept would definitely be above the 6 month mark. Another likely explanation is that rather than process EE apps in 3-4 months they want to use the full 6 months and use some of the slack with processing the other category in the meanwhile. If we don't see any movement by mid Jan then we are definitely waiting until March/April.

That being said that would be completely unfair as people would need to do the medicals again. As they are still doing draws and nothing has been communicated, they probably still feel that July/August might have some delay of a month or two over 6 month but overall they can still process EE within the 6 month period.

GCMS notes for people which are due in the next 2 weeks would provide rich data in understanding what is going on and trying to make sense of all this delay.

In the meanwhile good luck to everyone and hoping for the best!!!

I am relatively-new to this forum.

I used to be an international student, studied 6 years in Canada until graduating with a B.Sc.

Worked for 2 years in Canada with my PGWP, sadly in NOC C...... and too late to get Alberta PNP.... (total stay in Canada for 8 years..)

Now I have gained NOC B experience from my home town. And now applying for EE (again).

I missed PT from Ontario deadline on my previous EE profile. I hope I could get the PT again on my new EE profile (sitting at 410-point).

Sidenote: I am now sitting at 6-forum-point. When do I get to set up Signature and profile photos like you guys ?

Guys i was browsing through the November AOR group & I noticed that for one particular user "Andre_Smol", that he received his PPR on 07th Dec....

It set me thinking, maybe there is no backlog after all, CIC might be working on our applications and it might seem that we are in for a mass update, hopefully before christmas... Maybe I'm being too optimistic

The dude's application was probably processed outside ottawa, possibly at a local VO. I share your optimism though.

After reading a lot of people speculating about a backlog of applications with EE, I decided to share my timeline in the other thread like you mentioned and I dont know if it was just luck or not, but my application was processed in Ottawa until I received my PPR from my local VO and they said it was switched to them, now that it reached the final stages of processing.

Thanks. My local VO is Vienna, Austria.

received my Passport request from them, telling me what information and photos to submit and that the case was transferred to them for final stages.
