Did you guys whose BG check changed to in process, got DM or PPR recently get a ghost email. This is so I don't bother checking my profile over and over again till I get that ghost email. Thanks

For BG in progress, most folks got a notification update or at least a ghost email.. Some, however, discovered coincidentally that the BG started (I.e. no notification of any sort)

BG check started upto AOR 5 Aug .......mine is 6 th Aug. I m looking at these updates like a hungry child looking at his favourite food through glass :P :P

I hear applicants who have only one PCC and haven't traveled abroad at all have their applications processed faster?? Is this true?

We would need to survey PPR receivers to confirm or negate, but it kinda makes sense that if someone has multiple PC's their BG check would last a little longer than folks with a single PC.. Don't think too much traveling (<6 months) would impact the timeline though..

Well not sure if it's entirely true... I have travelled to multiple countries and have PCC for two countries and I think my application is processing in a similar timeline like any other FSW Outland applicant's application. Although I do feel that it might take a little longer for my BG check. Rest all this is my observation I might be wrong..

I have travelled others countries too .....but every visit was less than 6 months so I have PCC from home country only

But I also feel outlanders who never travelled abroad are processed only at local VO and get Ppr in 15-20 days. And those who have foreign visits irrespective of number PCCs, are processed at Ottawa are having timeline like us. The 10% very fast PPRs we see every month are pure outlanders with no foreign visits to any other country. That's the only reason I could trace out for very fast PPRs.

Interesting point. If that's the case, my application may take awhile as I have multiple visits to many countries.

I don't know about that. My BG check was like, 3 days, including a weekend and I had to submit PCCs from India and USA.
