From what i have seen the longer the time passes after aor the less are the chances for rejections, specially after the 2 months mark,i hope i dont have any disappointing emails till am at least 3 months post aor just to feel little safe lol

Yes I agree. Once you complete 3 months, you are generally safe coz then its usually only security and background check left.

Are the proof of funds documents usually checked in this 3 months? Or that is the part of background check?

This is Eligibility part. It usually takes part in local visa office.. This stage happens when the application is usually 4-5 months into the process.

Why are some applicants asked to provide updated pof and when does that usually happen
Im not familiar with those cases! Link or it didnt happen?

I cannot provide a link but i remember seeing that before on the forums, few members were asked for an updated pof
Maybe it was because processing time exceeded 6 months so they wanted to make sure they still satisfy fund requirement.. Then it would be asked at the Eligibility stage.

Usually if it is asked do you have an idea when will it be?
This would be IP2, A11.2 check. Some report this stage has started in their applications anytime from a month to 6 months! I read through the forum. Some were rejected after 4 months too.
Totally unpredictable. Unfortunately most FSW-O people on immitracker do not report start of their IP2 so we dont have the trends.. but based on a couple of cases reported, I would say 100+ days (3.5-4 months) for FSW-O!
