Received RCMP criminal record check request today. Has anyone else gotten one?

How much time do they give you to submit the RCMP check?

I hope processing continues to be fast. They haven't had a draw since 31st May and plenty of frustrated people in the Ray of Hope thread. It's probably the longest gap between draws. The last longest gap before this was the one I was waiting for in March where they finally did a draw on 24th March - Friday after a gap of 3 weeks. This one seems longer than that. I think they are holding back on draws to clear the application backlogs!

So let's hope that they first clear the backlogs with April applications and then start the procedures for the upcoming ITA draws.
This way, we could get our ppr very sooner than expected.

Though candidates waiting for the next draw will kill me reading this!!

Hahah. You are toast if someone from Ray of Hope reads this! Hahaha. I love reading the Ray of Hope thread. There is some sadistic pleasure watching the thread. It's like watching WWE wrestling. LOL - I also see Astra going in as referee sometimes!

Very unlikely we will be back in the pool. We have all passed R10 so I think most of us are safe unless there is someone with forged documents! My feeling is that we are all kinda safe since we have cleared R10. I haven't seen anyone rejected after R10 on the tracker. They seem to be asking for additional documents if they have a doubt or concern.

God forbid. It was just a light mood talkie... Let's hope and pray for all of them to get an invite very soon and receive pr without much waiting or suffering.

Also, let's pray for ourselves too for not getting rejected now. @johnsyk hope you're correct.

how recent is recent and how long did all ur stays add up to?did u exceed 6 months over the last 10 years?

Recent being in the last couple years. Probably 30-45 days total although I'd have to think back to add them up. It's definitely not close to 6 months total. I was visiting post-AOR too. I don't know if they take that into account. I suppose I'll find out when I get GCMS notes. I won't be back before I (hopefully) get PPR so with any luck they won't get picky about my RCMP.

The request letter gave me 2 months to submit. I received it June 23 and they asked for it by August 23rd. At the end they had boilerplate text saying within 30 days, but the actual date given and that shown on the upload slot on MyCIC is August 23rd.

I'm using https://xl-id.com/en/fingerprinting...rds-check-by-fingerprints-international-mail/ to submit my request to RCMP and I mailed my fingerprints off yesterday. Hopefully I'll receive the police certificate in a couple weeks.

Some of the seniors posted that for Sydney, NS, not sure who but also from what I saw I concluded that. I dont know whats the criteria.

Earlier i thought they there were few cases like this but, After being pointed out by @comfortablynumb I too checked the tracker by using filters, there were many many outlanders with files at Ottawa.

Ok now I have been reading CIC website, can anyone please give me the link where it says that all Express Entry e-APR applications are sent to CIO sydney, Because all I have found till now is that it is mandatory that all paper based, non express entry application are send to CIO sydney for economic class, but can't find the other one. please if someone has? link it.

P.S- i am beginning to conclude that our file could go to any processing office from the one's listed, but then it is also a fact that Economic class is shown only in sydney office tab, don't know, mind boggling now. Whenevr i think i somewhat know the process now, something new of CIC comes up.

I think I was right before, I stand by my earlier conclusion, that applications go to CIO sydney first (for R10 checks etc.) and then are transferred to CPC Ottawa (including many outlands also, instead of their respective LVO). Let's see if anyone has anymore insight.
